Guys, how about we test our cps at Sepang Circuit. I've been contemplating of doing that since I got my car. It would be fun since I myself have not tried cps to the limit not to mention the Sepang Circuit itself.

Baru get car already wanna test the car to its limit? Wah..... sweat.gif

Use SD card. Download the map from Malsingmap website, unzip and put in in the SD card (can read the details at the website). The only problem is that the GPS will take longer time to initialize.  nod.gif

To charge it without using a car charger, you have to buy the optional charger.  laugh.gif

Why din they just include a USB cable that can perform both updates n charging ah? so simple.

Don't want to take the risk ler, although the shape is similiar, they can always change the pin wiring inside to make sure we only use the charger they sold. At least I would do that if I'm the CEO.  brows.gif

No need VS at the moment as the car still new. If got money to 'invest' ( brows.gif ) change the airfilter to K&N. Really worth every cent.  thumbup.gif

Can we use the dropin type for the CPS or do we have to buy those open pod ones?

hello all cps drivers.. may i know the car FC for 1.6 waja or gen2..?
i believe the engine is better than old version 1 and i also would like to know the Fc... good or not
*
FC is 'not-so-good'. blush.gif My manual Waja CPS is currently going on RM0.28/km. sweat.gif Quite high if u compare it with the likes of Vios n City. But the engine's 'vrooom' sound is great.

Guys,

i got question about the tyre..anyone had done the alignment for WAJA CPS?
i've done it last few days after just got my car for a week.
the 'Good****" service center told me that i need to change the front tyre chamber (price rm50 per tyre)due to the original one is not good already and will cause the tyre will 'cepat botak'.
but i decided not to change it yet, i just done the alignment part. I'm not sure actually whether that chamber part, if changed will void the warranty?
need opinion or any experienced on this..... icon_question.gif
*
I've checked my alignment for my Waja CPS. Only the front right chamber was off. They adjusted it after adding the nut needed for chamber adjustment. Anyway, RM50 per tyre is just a bit expensive. I don't think adjusting that will void the warranty.

Not that much difference really... I'm too lazy to calculate FC these days. Just drive and fill up when almost empty.  nod.gif
*
That should be the way. Count too much n u'll lose the pleasure of driving the car. It's not like it'll cost u an arm or a leg....

QUOTE(squareballs @ Oct 18 2008, 02:18 AM)
Fender bars normally how much?
*
I was the one who installed all the Ultra Racing bars, including the front fender bars that you mentioned. Already been 4 months I've installed them so I don't really remember the price. I think it should be in the region of 250-300, for both sides. Anyway, as for reduction in front fender 'noises', it didn't help. According to the workshop (Proton), the noise is due to flexing at the welding joints that cause the noise. Possibly due to 'not-so-good' welding? Anyway, after installing the bars, I had them hammer the joints (overlapping sheet metal) tight again. After that (touch wood) it has remained silent till now. I think the fender bars help prevent too much body flex that might cause the overlapping metal at the joints to be seperated. My 2 cents punya theory only lah. Me no rocket scientist. nod.gif I sudah buat tak kisah. Now trying to finish up my installment for the car in 3 yrs, then can proceed with my next car. Kekeke... brows.gif The Waja is my going-to-work car. Need a pleasure ride. icon_rolleyes.gif
