Which engine? 2.0l or 2.4l?

The 2.4 one.... even tried with Gen2 CPS.. also lost.. maybe due to lighter weight body? hmm.gif

Got my car already but.. the rear bumper has a small deep scratch i.e. can see original black color bumper and rear light also got small crack only noticeable if look very closely but still cry.gif anyway, if let's say I re-spray the bumper how much does it cost is RM150 is expensive? as for rear light is it under warranty so that I can claim it back? cry.gif cry.gif one more thing I notice when I press brake pedal, there's a nyek nyek sound anyone can help to solve this?

If this sound to be true than I would rather spend $$$ to this new TCU than spend $$$ to repair my scratch rear bumper and rear light.. at least this would bring comfort to my mind not more sad feeling laugh.gif

Seems I'm the only one reporting back for this thread after the holiday.. tongue.gif anyway, here's the 2nd service for my CPS:
1) Change Power Steering Oil (too dirty already) - 2 bottles
2) Change Engine Oil (using Shell Ultra)
3) Alignment & Balancing
4) Filter
5) Solve the "Nyek Nyek" sound at the brake's pedal

Cost is about RM300++ (the Shell Ultra cost me already about RM200++). No time to talk to the boss about the TCU thingy.. too many cars send for services that day and no time to tune the ECU.. doh.gif

To ease your "misery" better send the car to SC since the car has 5 years warranty brows.gif

Yesterday my car's speakers went "silence" again and after went to several bumps, the speakers OK already.. emm... that's mean that I need to find a bump whenever this problem re-surface again.. doh.gif

if front speaker that out your door panel and check the connection to speaker, if rear then easier to check the connection on speaker.
*
The problem is that all speakers go silent la.. I think better go to see "doctor" since "5 years warranty" brows.gif

so, we can feel the difference? more power on pick up, or top? i'm quite skeptical with proton manifesto. i'm afraid that cps is just on paper, but on road it similar with normal campro.

so cps owner satisfied with cps power?
*
I'm driving Waja CPS MT, what can I say.. it's quite a powerful engine during the recent holiday, I managed to follow close and even "potong" a Merc, (E Class), Nissan (like Alphard kind) and Volvo SUV and leaving them a few km away at PLUS but the Merc. very "cilakak" after I changed to left lane ( b'coz my wife woke up and ask me to slow down tongue.gif ), the Merc. suddenly try to "himpit" me at left lane vmad.gif maybe the Merc. guy not satisfied being "potong" by a Waja laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

What kind of 5 years warranty?

bro...sorry to bring u down back to earth....no way 1.6L NA can outrun at least a 2.6L powered engine in long stretch road, unless zig zag.

Remember, no replacement for displacement.
*
The car comes with 5 years warranty, right? but then regardless, the car is less than a year old, better send to SC for checkup since so lazy to check for myself.

I know that there's no way to beat 2.6 powered engine, but if the Merc. maintained his car speed around 120 - 140km/h and don't dare to go more than that while I'm driving around 160 - 180km/h sure can outrun one... brows.gif

For so long, my Waja CPS been a good girl until last thursday midnight.
I was driving back to Kajang@home ..going over a hump..Suddenly..creak~~~winds from outside came in.
To my horror, my window (driver side) drop half and in front. (imagine that window in triangle shape and the rest inside the door).
I can't pull it up..and winding up will create huge cracking sound.
The next day, brought it to DJ2 SC ..but on the way around kerinchi link, it rains!!!  mad.gif
I have to drive while holding newspaper to cover the windows..bloody rain so heavy some more.
The mech there checked and found out that the glass has fall off from the handler. He also feel weird  hmm.gif  how could that happen.
In the end, he put the glass into place..and test few times.
The sakit hati part is my tint got scratched when the glass fell off...
Driving with koyak tint...sien... cry.gif

The infamous Waja's Windows problem found yet another victim.. tongue.gif

I never like AT more prefer MT, our company's cars Perdana V6 and Wira are AT and got a lot of problem with the gear box, maybe b'coz always rev especially me when driving these cars tongue.gif But then again driving in a city which always jam like KL or JB, AT is preferable as it brings comfort to the feet but anyway, I live and work in small town so traffic jam is a rare sight. biggrin.gif

As for Waja "expiry date", I heard also that with the signing between Proton & Mitsu, Proton will come up a replacement for Waja/Perdana in 2010 so the rumour might be true. hmm.gif
