I saw a dealer selling the white iphone 3G 16gb in Low Yat Plaza just now... fully unlocked!!!

Guess what price he quoted???

RM5,500....

I rather book air ticket and fly to New Zealand to buy, enjoy holidays and some more can bring back some units to sell..

Meant it is a legally unlocked phone, either from Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand or Italy.. can be used by any sim card...

This dealer is the so called "main iphone distributor" in Low Yat Plaza! They always jacked up the prices..

Anyway, if u guy need to see the real iphone 3g, may be this is the place you should go.. (turn right and go straight after you climb up from the escalator, u should able to see the "white box" with your sharp eyes.)

only today they start selling...

IF u have iphone 3G 8gb selling @ RM2000, I will get one from u..

Quite impossible loh...

1. Black market dealer is very "united", see how they push up the prices of the 1st gen iphone before the 3g launched?? and now they r still stick to that high price.. (Pls note that Hong Kong, China, Singapore also sell at that high price now..)

2. Where is the source of this 8gb 3G? New Zealand, Australia, Italy or Hong Kong? As Stringfellow highlighted before, looks like New Zealand is the 'cheapest' place to get a legally unlocked iphone 3g now.. at what price? NZD979 or about RM2500 in ringgit.

3. According to Weiphone forum, black market dealer willing to pay HKD7000 to buy from the existing 3G iphone user for their phones... and sell it in China at RMB8000...

so, do u really think it is possible to get a 8gb iphone 3g @ RM2000.... if true, then, that should be a very "generous" dealer..

see the "sold out" sign??? They can put whatever price they wanna... some more,next reservation only in Sep '08....
