This Setia Walk when I drive along LDP and look at it, the floor height seem to be very low. Is it true or just illusion ?

There... as big as a column can get

The building has to be surrounded by columns, that's the engineers' view. There is no more space for the pool. It's the pool which eats into the space allocated for the columns.

The distance between the station beside IOI to Tesco is less than 1.5km. If would not be logical; plus will also increase the travel time if there are stations so close to each others. Probably this is the reason of not building the one in Tesco.
The contractor have already started foundation work for the proposed station beside IOI. Have seen the soil investigation work started for the proposed station beside Tractor Malaysia.
*
Technical reasons aside, this will be a test case of the muscle of SPS.

IOI's muscle we already see it, they have got stations at IOI mail, tractor malaysia and so on.

Perhaps Tesco pusat bandar puchong will be domolished and a new building will be erected and Tesco becomes the tenant in the new building and LRT then built subsequently ? Wishful thinking ..... brows.gif

The stations along Bukit Jalil Expressway also very near to each other. ST06 near IOI will serve the residents in Puchong Jaya, ST07 Tesco for PBP and ST08 for Bandar Puteri.

ST05 Kinrara cancelled because the residents protest.
*
ST08 very hard to serve Bandar Puteri unless there is a overhead pedestrian bridge. More like ST09 for Bandar Puteri ?

Form here:  http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2029466/all

was told by some people with early information.

1. The tesco will be demolished and make way for LRT station (we all know this).
2. Something big is happening to that big piece of land (LRT don't need such big piece of land together with the existing land, it is not just a LRT, i was told it is something more than 30 storey, could also include a shopping floor with LRT past thru the building.
3. If this is true, then if this is residential, then the price gonna be the highest psf in Puchong.
4. If you chk who's Tesco's Partners in Malaysia, then it could be another Sime project.

I can't confirm this as i was being told. Hope someone can dig out and confirm if this is true.

Also. The LRT in IOI apparently may move to next to IOI business park, where the petrol station will be dismantle, this could me rumors only, but if this is true, then the IOI upcoming skypod highrise residence will be another win with extremely close to LRT (factor), actually they can even just build a connection to the LRT, as it was so closed.. (but again, just rumors as it was too closed to current tesco station)

again, i hope anyone with access to info can confirm this. thanks

It's amazing. Everyone is creating his or her own information here. No wonder they say internet is a good place to breed rumours. doh.gif

Station 7 next to Tesco will start work soon, now waiting MBPJ permit only...
Ampang line Station 5 and 12 cancel only...

SW buyer dont worry......
*
MPSJ you mean ?

How about Stn 09 ( Tractor Malaysia ) ? Are they starting work on it soon ?

Stn08 is closer to the prime location of Bandar Puteri, but unfortunately the station may not be reachable from Bandar Puteri unless there is a pedestrian bridge.

Honestly speaking, really too many stations in this area !

This Sta7 is just one step away from reality.

MPSJ has to approve it, since MPSJ is not under the control of federal government ( it's under the PR controlled state government ), there is no need for MPSJ to cooperate with SPS. The SPS muscle is unlikely to have any effect over it. The MPSJ can refuse it under the name that it will destroy the piece of green park area next to TESCO and say that there are already quite many stations already ( honestlly speaking !) So this drama has not quite ended yet. Isn't it ?

Now only i realized, zest with smaller scale aledi hitting v3. Maybe no one want to lead in this thread unlike other thread.
*
Very clearly zest thread has people who have got vested interest behind it, good or bad, actively creating "life" to it. Not to say other threads do not have such things, but zest is obviously a more successful example.

Is there a banana tree?  I wish developers would plant fruit trees instead of just leavy trees...
*
Cannot grow banana trees lah, very high maintenance, ie the trees grow and die very fast. Besides having fruits like banana might invite monkeys to the place. LOL.

Typically people don't even grow fast growing flowers due to the maintenance reason. So normally stick to very traditional leafy trees.

why not you paste yours and let us see how you define "expat"?
*
Actually no need to argue because the word "expatriate" the meaning is too loose.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expatriate

QUOTE
In its broadest sense, an expatriate is any person living in a different country from where he or she is a citizen. In common usage, the term is often used in the context of professionals sent abroad by their companies, as opposed to locally hired staff. The differentiation found in common usage usually comes down to socio-economic factors, so skilled professionals working in another country are described as expatriates, whereas a manual labourer who has moved to another country to earn more money might be labelled an 'immigrant'.

*
Very persistent effort indeed. IOI performs badly in this aspect.

but this 1 still cannot beat the 14-month old record SPA price currently held by trigon unit # K-26-05 [type D 968 sf] that was sold at rm702,800 or rm726 psf. granted..that it's before 2% discount and packaged with partial furnishing.
*
The skypod per floor price increase is too steep, especially for the lower built up, so loading pool view premium etc etc it ends up 716 psf already. Madness !

The SW 968 sf still holds the record in the sense that it's a bigger built up and yet the psf figure can go up to 7xx psf. So I say both SPS and IOI abang adik slaughtering water fish. But the buyers willingly swim into it, blames no one !

sps & ioi r not the only carnivores preying on the abundant waterfishes that converge from various parts of KV to this part of puchong's congested but golden stream. there is yet at least another predator who is silently watching by the sidelnes sharpening its claws ready to pounce on these preys at the right time, creating another round of BBB frenzy and maybe setting a new rm psf record.

Do you mind mentioning the name of the developer who you referred to ? Then others will have a stronger feel for what you say. icon_rolleyes.gif

A news from Tesco staff, management has informed them exsiting Tesco will be moving out. All of them will be relocated to other Tesco, but never mention Bukit Puchong.
*
Good news for Jusco and Giant then. Don't expect the existing clients to go all the way to Bukit Puchong.
