Nothing standard, it's something between you and the contractor to negotiate, better still sign something for mutual understanding and acceptance.

Some people practiced asked for high discount of the show unit (your unit) renovation and lend out your unit free to contractor for x number of months (3 months ~ 6 months), or some discount + some rental for the show unit (your unit) for x number of months.

Everything subject to you two negotiation.

* The progress of transforming Malaysia to high income group, ; means high spenders in return

The prices of the apartment ( SOLACE, Vio, etc.. ) to hit RM 600/sqft in another 6 to 12 months seem not impossible. Owners will like it and Buyer will not. Whether you like it or not, this is the trend.
p/s : I do not own any unit nor intend to get one. Just my recent observation. Another triangle in the making
