as topic, can anyone teach me how to remove this type of screw?




some say use driller to take it off and replace it with another type of screw, while some say very hard to find this type of head to remove this type of screw

any idea how to take it off?

well, its on most casing , so i guess you guys know which screw is that

i think it's rivet nail..normally use with alum stuff..to remove it, just drill with bigger size than the rivet..but to put back u need to have the rivet tools

yup...need a drill for that
commonly used in normal casing

find a drill bit slightly wider than the centre hole, pop it, rescrew back with small screw n nut

ooo...means drill a bigger hole so that the screw will pop out la?

btw, on the side one is for my casing side panel wo. If use other type of screw later the side panel ma canot go in @@

p/s: just dissamble my cap ayam casing last weekend, removed all rivet nail without drill machine, hihi

that's rivet i think coz no allen key used on casing...

drill it out... u have to clear the rivet head to remove it

how do u remove it without drill?

actually i used 'mata' drill (dun know what's this called in English ), the motor/machine broke already, so just 'drill' by force

cant do coz need to break the rebet clip then only can remove it

i want to spray it all black

i use pahat & screw driver & playar.. lol..

i use my pinky

the easy rivet to take out (pop rivet)....aluminum material

tools:

drill gun
drill bit ( oversize from the size of rivet shank@hole of rivet being used)
pin punch (to punch out the rivet shank after the rivet cap being removed)
hammer (to hammer the punch)

this is for the clean and tidy rivet takeout

playar (combination/duckbill/needle) (to take out the stubborn rivet shank that won't come out )


the difficult (still not "the difficult one") rivet to remove (Huck rivet)....monel material

lucky for u not find it anywhere coz it being install on aircraft fuselage/body hehehehehehe
