Got the item mate, the AverTv Box Genie I, im pleased with it, running it on my plasma display 42" now ( old model 1024 x 768 and no tv tuner just display ) with PS2. Not sharp graphics but itll do, rather than just have the Display not doing anything at home. The display only had VGA input and some funny non RCA inputs on it. Using the Aver as a TV tuner and connecting it via VGA made all the difference now.

I could have gotten the K-World model but their prices are just too high for what I needed which was a decent TV reception and some good PS2 gaming, K-World models might have better graphics output but im fine with what I have now. There is no lagging on PS2 gaming though the pictures a little hazier than using a normal CRT TV, but then again this seems to be a problem with PS2 on Plasma display anyway.

Nevertheless from what I understand from Linkcraft a Tv box is purely just a converter -RCA to VGA and no 3D involved for output and this is the same to apply to any brand in the market. Ive not been able to compare a KWorld gaming model on my TV ( anyone care to lend me so I can help compare ? smile.gif ) but for the price of RM270++ vs this pricing of well, since Linkcraft would rather not have it out..its a very very nice price compared to KWorlds cheapest TV Box model. Im only able to compare pricing though, output may be different.

* Hint : Look up Chip Magazine December for the retail price of AverTv Box Genie I, youll find its a decent in fact very decent prices for what Im using it for. Sellers nice too though I didnt really get a chance to meet the seller.

Note: Review entirely of my own without coercion, I neither have met the seller in person nor is he / she someone I know smile.gif
