Product review/impressions :: I did quite a decent amount of research before I decided to buy this capture card. I chose it over the other products Linkcraft has to offer because ::
1. I want to record/connect via HDMI and not COMPONENT connection 2. I want to LIVESTREAM HDMI footage from my ps3 directly on my pc 3. It's the CHEAPEST among all of them
I am not saying that the other products are not good but I prefer this product for the price and my needs. Don't get me wrong
Yes, many say u can't use the capture card with PS3 because of HDCP but there's an unofficial patch and driver that allows you to do so. This was a blessing for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the capture card. I wish I could record in 1080p but that'll cost me 2X the price for a reliable capture card that can do so.
Here's an example of footage I recorded in 720P using the capture card. I stream the footage from PS3 live on Avermedia Center 3D and record using FRAPS/dxtory because I prefer the uncompressed quality. WATCH IN 720P!
Apart from that I also do livestreams of myself gaming. Here's an example. Just watch the first few minutes to get an idea. the video is 4hours long. Click here to watch the recorded livestream
Purchasing Experience :: I'm very satisfied with the service Linkcraft and his company has given me. They respond to my questions patiently and the lady at his office is polite just like him. The price they offer for the capture card is very reasonable as well. If you somehow find anywhere cheaper I suggest you just get it from here as their customer service is excellent.
I put a lot of effort into writing this because I've always wanted to share my gameplay experience with everyone since I was young and now I finally can. And all this is possible because of Linkcraft . If you guys have any questions about the capture card feel free to ask me. Thanks again to Linkcraft and his company! Cheers
