for users that want to have carrier logo again ,just download carrier logo fix in cydia...it works for me. simple and working....and for those who love to used makeitmine with variety of carrier logo(standart) u can search using ifile or iphonebrowser or ifunbox or winscp[ system>Library>carrier bundles>Unknown.bundle] those png are working perfectly in makeitmine....u also can put custom carrier logo in it...without using ipcc files


using carrier logo fix_________________________manually inserted .png files (if u dun want to kacau the APN for maxis) and then type MY CELCOM in makeitmine

Need some help,
I am using Iphone 3GS 16GB (celcom). I don't use 3G but only relies on GPRS / EDGE to send and receive MMS. I installed Celcom 3.1 ipcc from this forum and able to see the celcom logo and all the following setting. However, when I tried to send mms, there was a tone notifying me that the mms is sent but the other phone did not receive anything. I tried sending to several other phone and all did not receive the message.

Is there anything wrong??

I get this somewhere on lyn. See the only difference is the port. instead of 8080 you might set it as 80. BTW, I don't know if it works because I don't use celcom. you may try

I think I had found out the root cause why some of you when updated to 3.1.2 with Jailbreak will not able to get the logo. If you use Pwnage tools without upgrading the baseband (upgrade from 3.0.x to 3.1.x), you will not get the logo. This is the first time when I upgraded and couldn't get the logo and need to use SSH to transfer the file manually.

Yesterday, I upgraded to stock 3.1.2 from Apple, then run Blackrain to jail break. After it's done, I use the Pwnage tools custom firmware 3.1.2 to update again (I heard there is still some problem with Blackrain RC2 when running certain custom program). Restore and install ipcc file. The logo is there and my baseband is 5.x.xx. For those with Maxis set, should be no problem as our set is unlock. For those getting from overseas, please don't use this method. You can't upgrade 4.x.xx baseband to 5.x.xx or your phone wouldn't unlock.

alot of users mistype "/setPreflnt" it's not L but capital "I"

not sure if u tried it, have u try restarting your phone? seems that some might need to do this step
