I came across some guy posting what mods he did on his phone...thats how i learnt about Monster Bass mod. Couldnt find it here so i googled it and found some links Now i've added the Monster Bass v2 mod to my w960i and its amazing!!!! When i first got this W960i (cuz of the music la...hehe i gila music) i was quite disappointed cuz the sound didnt sound nearly as good as my previous SE w850i. Was so sad...sound so flat, no bass oomph and equaliser all preset only. No customizable EQs to help make the sound a bit better. I even started contemplating getting the W980 instead for better sound. (But i still prefer the W960i for all other functions, tho). But now....with the Monster Bass mod it sounds absolutely amazing! Loud, clear highs and bass (lows)...even with just the flat EQ (Normal preset). Perfect for me cuz i listen to lots of hard rock and heavy metal. Ok so its still got no dedicated DAC for music..but this mod makes the sound good enough to neglect that fact. Bro uhlaw, i think you should consider adding this mod to the first page for everyone to try it out. It will defenitely make alot of ppl happy, especially those who like music and are a bit disappointed with the P1i / w960i sound quality. I dunno how this compares to the SOund Mode full and lite tho..but this one is good enough for me! heheh Wah..so long story i wrote ah....sorry...hope didnt bore you guys to death...hehe Hehe..check out here. No update process in progress? The prog also didnt ask u to release C button? then, its not updating problem, i think usb connection problem.. or try to uninstall SEUS and reinstall it.

On my way Senior Member 620 posts Joined: Oct 2008	to install manually, connect the fon while holding C button, and wait until it prompt u to install it or search for the driver. No need to run SEUS. Or, go to device manager, update driver and locate the driver manually. makesure you place the USB flash driver folder in C:/here. On my way Senior Member 620 posts Joined: Oct 2008	louis6, have u try to check the whole inbox? maybe you messed up with the date. Or because the SMS accidentally change to another date because of unknown reason. The fon sometimes can not react for first time and for the second time it will be ok. It is normal for me, sometimes the network problem is affecting.
