QUOTE(steel2k2 @ Nov 3 2008, 01:23 PM) For deleting the installation files if they keep on popping up on start up, You would need to check n c which file is popping up by clicking on it n checking them one by one. what do u mean by checking them one by one? mine d: dun have the private folder wor??The files are located in D:\Private\10202dce\ |

QUOTE(ppfoong @ Nov 3 2008, 05:34 PM) I think you should use the uninstall function in the phone, instead of just deleting them. after uninstall also still popping up when after i restart of connect to pc.....Added on November 3, 2008, 5:40 pm You can ask somebody to backup his firmware with XS++ and send the file to you. Added on November 4, 2008, 2:21 pm QUOTE(steel2k2 @ Nov 4 2008, 12:38 AM) How is it possible? You need to use Swiss Manager / X-Plore to view them. i have deleted it from the folder that i store my application but somehow still prompt out!!!At that location, you will see couple of .sis files. Click on them and they will prompt the installation screen. If that is the one that keeps bugging you each time you start-up your phone, then delete that off. DONE! QUOTE(steel2k2 @ Nov 4 2008, 06:36 PM) Not possible. Because mine, i faced same problem before this and i did the same way i asked you to do. It fixed my problem... and it should fix yours too. if its at D: is it located in folder D:\resource\apps\XXX.rsc or mbm or loc.rsc???Make sure you delete those (.sis) files that prompting each time you start-up. And the location is at D: not C: This post has been edited by lek_e30: Nov 5 2008, 02:18 PM |

QUOTE(steel2k2 @ Nov 7 2008, 12:20 AM) when you found those .sis files at the specific location... click on them... and they will prompt you for the installtion for that .sis the problem that when i wanted to delete the file (.sis) in D: all the file name not same as the apps which keep popping up example, when start-up... swiss manager keep pop up. then search for that .sis under that location... delete it off. It will surely fix your problem somehow when i try to retreive some information from those sis file, even the name has been change to numbers only.... that why cant differentiate which sis to delete This post has been edited by lek_e30: Nov 7 2008, 10:29 AM |
