I tried the WiFi mod. Battery consuming... i think doesn't really affect much. Well, to me, i don't think there's any difference. But for signal, yes. It does improve slightly... not major difference. But yea, i did manage to scan some new wireless signal from my home compare to before modding

First of all, mod with care and carefully. What i meant by that?

1. Make sure your battery is full to make sure things is done safely.
2. Do backup if you doubts your way of doing things / you want things to be back as original
3. Do only stuff that you need, to avoid any under performance of your phone
4. Finally, seek for advice before you do anything, or anything goes wrong / not right
** everything can be reset to as original phone, by flashing your phone with the latest firmware again

If you did any of the mod, most people will say it will void your warranty. If you're scared... i advice you not to do it. But i've done so long... everything goes smoothly without any problem. If one day i happen to need to send back for warranty... i will reflash back my firmware then only send. Which means just like a new phone when i just bought.

Others, modding ways and stuff to download can be found here in the forum. Search around, and do more reading before you start off anything ^^

Fake? Hmm... imitations housing, the color will get faded or will come off easily after certain period of time. I guess also will be around RM40-RM50+

Not worth changing in my opinion. Stay original unless your original one is already very bad in condition. Else, stay to it. Put on some color silicone casing instead.

Bro, i did not come across with that problem till now. If that error occur when you open your SMS and read, try reading them slowly. Slowly in a sense that, click NO when a SMS comes in. Then, manually click on Messaging, Inbox, then read the message from there. Does the error still appearing?

Q1. You can't do that. You need to reinstall all your application/programs in your new memory card
Q2. Yes, you can take in/out of your memory card without needing to turn off your mobile. But, it may take a few minutes for the phone to process the new memory card stuff inside.
**Changing too often, i'm afraid someday, your phone might face problem detecting memory card due to often changing cards. Beware

I faced that problem on my old Sony phone. Brought to shop, FW problem. So, need to reflash. I do not know how to do myself so, go to send to shop.

But now for your case, i'm not sure whether is it the same problem. If there is no other way, try re-flashing your FW?

Do backup your phone stuff before you proceed with anything =)

Sony Ericsson PC Suit have a backup application there. Use that to backup your stuff. You have the option to choose which you would like to backup. Easy~ Update more often if you're a heavy modder on your phone =) Anything can goes upside down when you tend to mod a lot ^^

Why not? I do not have a bluetooth headset, but if i'm not mistaken my friend did tried before listening music using his bluetooth headset.

CDA /95 will be a Singapore version which you can read and write chinese
Firmware doesn't matter, you can update that yourself later if you want

You looking for those folder manually for? You can only use explorer like Swiss / X-plorer to view those folder in phone

If you want to delete those folder, i suggest you to go uninstall instead, of deleting the folders manually

100% deleted. Backup all your stuff before doing

Application running will eats up your battery life as well. But, 100% next morning 64% sounds bad~

If you need to send back for warranty for some problem, i suggest you to re-flash back your FW so it looks original without any mods being made on your phone. Or else, afraid that they will say you did modding on your phone, and your warranty voided.

Make sure when you connect your phone using USB, it is in "PHONE MODE" and not "FILE TRANSFER" mode. It should works, try again~

Using PC Suit Backup Manager. Easy, connect, and see the settings you want to backup. You can even choose just contacts to backup.

Maybe you can find some icons (png) with those text wording on them. Then, you just need to change icon, and the text is there

Same, X-Plorer user here as well =) Facing the same thing just like you do. No idea why, but once it runs awhile, back to normal or when i exit it. Not a big deal for me anyway... Haha

By original, Singapore FW comes with English->Chinese / Chinese->English Dictionary Software. Which is what i'm using and having right now. Well, since i don't know how to read chinese and uses English most of the time, i installed another Dictionary which gives me English->English whereby it gives me the meaning of the word. Helps a lot =)

I believe when you are about to finish up the 4GB memory... your phone will be lag like mad @_@ Which is what i hate the most. Haha
