Stick to Jdownloader (FTW). Been using Synology for the past 4-5 years and still waiting for a Jdownloader for it. The Sdownloader is nowhere close to Jdownloader.

To be honest I think Sdownloader can handle what you need. It is just me, I just love Jdownloader so much, I can stick all my premium accounts in it. And it does the rest. I am not saying Synology cannot handle MU downloads in fact for basic downloads it does the job pretty well.
