i want to ask about nas.. does it perform as like usb drive where if i want to edit my work i can open it directly and save it directly?

lets say i want to create a database using access, can i host it and the nas and all the pc can connect to the nas and access the system?

I'm quite satisfied with the price paid. The performance is not bad and quite responsive. Of course not as responsive as Microserver. Accessing files on the Microserver feels as if the storage is on the same PC !
