Just bought a Synology DS408 NAS box with 4x1TB Seagate 7200.11 HDs hooked up in RAID-5. Looking forward to checking out its features such as download suppor, iTunes server, and hibernation.

QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Jun 24 2011, 02:24 AM) Anyone know the different of Dlink DNS-320, DNS-323, DNS-325 ? i view the website it's all about the same. Also anyone know which one can stream 1080p movie without lag ? ? thanks again in advance I have the DNS-323. It is SLOW. Very SLOOOOWWWWWW (Long transfers end up around 3-5MB/s). Don't bother getting it. Not sure about the other models though. My main NAS is a Synology DS408 (setup in RAID-5 config), and that is quite fast. Routinely get 70+MB/s transfers over a Gigabit LAN. I also have one of those eSATA/USD3.0 boxes with 4 non-RAIDed HDs (there is a RAID version as well, but I didn't get that). Transfers over USB3 for me are usually around 70-80MB/s, but I didn't really do a true test as I usually have multiple transfers across multiple HDs happening simultaneously.
