Guys, I have Synology 210j with the updated drivers and all and I'm using D-Link DIR-615 version 7 (the router that comes from streamyx) connected to my 210j. I'm using streamyx to connect to internet.
I'll be going overseas soon and I would want to access my DS-210j files/photos and most importantly continue to download files from it. I'm kinda lost how to remotely access synology doing this way. The synology website provided some information but not that it help me solve the problem.
Has anyone has successfully done this? How/What are the steps? Appreciate help from this community.

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Dec 24 2010, 08:27 AM) Create a DDNS entry. (NO-IP, DYNDNS) Fill in the DDNS info either in Synology or Router. And port forward 5000 (Default) for access to your NAS. -pWs-I already did this. I create a DDNS entry DYNDNS I also fill in the DDNS info both in Synology and Routre and port forward 5000 for access to my NAS. Has anyone successfully done it with their Synology 210j NAS and DIR-615 version 7 firmware on their Unifi? Please help and give step by step procedure how to do this

Will my set-up be retained?Or do i have to re-configure everything again from scratch? How about those on download cue that has not yet been completed, how to transfer them to the new hard disk?
