too cheap d , worry is second hand unit lah ...how to check is new or second hand ?

Need some advice on aircond too and appreciate all you sifus' feedback. 

I plan to install 1.0hp unit each in 2 bedrooms and has decided on Panasonic brand. My questions are:

1. I'm staying in a service apt where the electricity rate is higher compared to landed properties or other condos.  Do you think it is advisable for me to fix inverter airconds? The aircond usage will be minimal though (i.e. not daily basis).

2. My master bedroom's aircond is spoilt.  If I want to get inverter aircond, is the old cabling compatible? I was quoted RM180 by one aircond shop to un-install the faulty unit...is this a reasonable fee?

3. My living room aircond is LG brand and since Day One,  I've always felt that it takes forever to cool the room. It is 6 yrs old and I've only cleaned the filter net twice  .  Should I service it and how much would it generally cost?  Just want an indication so that I don't get chopped by dishonest vendor. 

4. Any recommended shops in Puchong area to get Panasonic airconds?  How much is the installation fee in general to fix new aircond?

I think it's bloody expensive. For 1.0HP, the price should be ranging from RM250 to RM300. Try to get more quotation.

just to share, got quoted 1hp basic panny and mitsubishi for rm900  and sharp basic for rm830 inclusive intallation for b2b. but end i opted for fujiaire with ion for rm830 with intallation. hopefully the ac can last.

xerox, after a week i used i think is ok. for the price cant complain much. and it comes with freegift alan delon belt with wallet or you can choose luggage or either deduct rm50 by not taking the freegift.
