If homedec price is rm960, i am sure you can get the price cheaper outside. 800+ sound reasonable to me for basic unit Household [Home Appliances] Air-con

QUOTE(audy @ Oct 12 2012, 11:26 AM) Need some advice on aircond too and appreciate all you sifus' feedback. Inverter is using different piping but daikin did had inverter model that compatible with the normal piping. To be safe, just check with the installer.I plan to install 1.0hp unit each in 2 bedrooms and has decided on Panasonic brand. My questions are: 1. I'm staying in a service apt where the electricity rate is higher compared to landed properties or other condos. Do you think it is advisable for me to fix inverter airconds? The aircond usage will be minimal though (i.e. not daily basis). 2. My master bedroom's aircond is spoilt. If I want to get inverter aircond, is the old cabling compatible? I was quoted RM180 by one aircond shop to un-install the faulty unit...is this a reasonable fee? 3. My living room aircond is LG brand and since Day One, I've always felt that it takes forever to cool the room. It is 6 yrs old and I've only cleaned the filter net twice 4. Any recommended shops in Puchong area to get Panasonic airconds? How much is the installation fee in general to fix new aircond? Thanks Yes, you have to service the aircon to clean the inner part with chemical also pump in new gas. In Puchong, I found the shop next to Top Ten provide good bargain for Panasonic and Mitshubishi aircon. Do check it out. New installation for normal 1hp aircon shd be Rm130-rm150. RM180 to uninstall is very expensive, I been quote RM150 to relocate the aircon unit uncluding compressor. |

QUOTE(bat11 @ Nov 16 2012, 10:55 AM) I think it's bloody expensive. For 1.0HP, the price should be ranging from RM250 to RM300. Try to get more quotation. It's depend how long is the piping. RM250 - RM300 is for normal piping right? So standard 10ft for inverter piping should be ard RM350-RM450. At least the quotation I have previously. In the end I choose normal piping as I dont see the need to use inverter aircon. Generally I use the aircon less than 8 hours a day. |
