hi all i get a quote for 1.5hp York L series without installation rm1080, what do you all think about this price? thanks
*
1.5hp on RM1080...so it normal aircond right not inverter?

i suggest u invest some more money to inverter type of aircond...

my experience..
i use 2 inverter aircond in my home.
one is 1.0hp - RM 1300 -+ (bedroom) and one 1.5HP - RM 1700-+ (living room)

my electricity bill reduce to +-RM35 (per month - includes all other electricity appliances in my house ) compare to before using tht inverter aircond +-Rm40 per month

i would say using inverter aircond is much more saving than use the ceiling fan alone..

fyi these are electricity appliances on my home are :

1. 1 Dekstop Computer (24/7 online), 1 netbook and 1 notebook.
2. 1 refrigerator (SHARP) (24/7 on) - 5 star rating on electricity saving
3. 1 washing machine (LG) - normal auto washing machine
4. 1 rice cooker (panasonic)
5. 1 42 Inch LED LCD TV (LG) - for sound i use TV speaker only laugh.gif
6. Astro Decoder
7. TM Wifi Modem/router (24/7 online)
8. 1 1.0HP Panasonic Inverter Aircond (bedroom - usually will be switch on till the morning) - 5 star rating on electricity saving
QUOTE
CS-S10NKH (CU-S10NKH) ~ 1.0HP

9. 1 1.5HP Panasonic Inverter Aircond (living room) - 5 star rating on electricity saving
QUOTE
CS-S13NKH (CU-S13NKH) ~ 1.5HP

10. 1 stand FAN (i place it on my computer room - becoz i dont place aircond in tht room since the room ceiling quite high and have windows..
11. 1400watt vacuum cleaner (once every 2 weeks)
12. iron (once a week - my wife iron the clothes 1 time a week - bundle clothes)
13. electric kettle (everyday becouse me, my wife and my son drink water everyday like normal human being laugh.gif )

so far...it is really obvious about the comparison using inverter and non inverter aircond...(my parent house use normal aircond which is every month the electricity bill quite high)

indeed the price for non converter aircond is more cheap (can save up to RM600-RM1000) but using inverter aircond tht amount can be reached 1-2 years after u using the inverter aircond and reduce ur monthly electricity bill too..

Added on June 3, 2012, 10:33 amdo u hv inverter aircond..?

if u have it, try turn off ur main power while ur inverter aircond in swicth ON state..

the true inverter aircond will not swicth OFF immediately after the main power break down or black out becouse inverter aircond having a system like electricity charging system (happen to me once and that prove my friend info about inverter electricity appliance ) - i myself not very familiar with it coz i am from IT related studies...i get the info from my electric engineering friend...

Added on June 3, 2012, 10:33 am+ i use the eco navi system that available on my panasonic inverter aircond..
and the mechanic advise me to clean up the air filter on the aircond once every a month

diadokmai, yes normal york aircond 1hp is rm750 and 1.5hp is rm1080, also sharp inverter is rm1350. all before installation.
cheapest 1hp inverter is rm990*
ifi used inverter it will be more expensive by rm1350

I am going to use inverter pipe all but not all inverter a/c and my breakdown is like this :
master room - 1.5hp (sharp inverter every used)
room 1&2 - york 1 hp (hardly used)
guess room - york 1 hp (hardly used)
dining and hall york 1.5hp (hardly used)
*
oh that case ka? haha then i think in that case is ok la..coz hardly used

aircond spec in my parents home :

first bedroom 1.0HP york
second bedroom 1.0 Hisense (very cheap but the quality is questionable ???)
third bedroom 1.0 Hisense (very cheap but the quality is questionable ???)
living room 2.0 LG

monthly electricity RM150++ (include all other home appliance)

but..i think u can tke some method just like rushoe done.
maybe can save u RM30++ for monthly commitment

I reduce the air on usage for once a week max, my bill is less than rm25 last month, usually my bill is 50-60
