My less than one month old Panasonic is giving me problem (rattling noise) now. Heh.
*
Are you using the latest model or the previous one?
Cos from my personal experience, the previous model has problem with it air swing.
If still within warranty period, lodge your complain and keep pressuring them to replace the blower unit. Once they replace with the new model blower, problem solved... tongue.gif

My model is CS-PC9MKH (link). I'm not sure if it's the latest or old model.  unsure.gif

This is the older model. Same as the one that I was having previously.

I see. My unit produces rattling/vibrating noise when I switch on (the first 5 minutes) as though the whole unit is working really hard. And the noise will go on throughout the night when the room temperature increases. Oddly, I left the swing in on position.

Suggest that you complain to Panasonic. Get the report no. & keep following up with them. They will response quite fast. The problem is whether they will managed to rectify your problem or not?
If they still cannot rectify the problem, insist that they replace the unit.....
With persistent and also directed to the correct parties, they will eventually do so... smile.gif

If blower noise is your greatest concern, then you really have to avoid Panasonic (from my own experience) & York.
Have you taken a look at Daikin? Was told that it is quite silence. Not sure if it meets your stringent dead silence requirements or not. All the blower units are bound to produce some level of noise from its motor (after some usage)
Short of that, to comply with your dead silence requirement, you may have to consider the Air Cooled Chilled water system. smile.gif

any moving parts (in this case the motor) are bound to have sound as time goes by... tongue.gif

If the piping is suited for the inverter, then can use for non inverter. For the same HP aircon...

Hi guys,

intend to get the mount unit aircond for the master bedroom but there are several questions up in my mind.
currently im living on 9th floor and the apartment oso got no balcony.
i wonder how the installation for the outdoor unit can be done? how they gonna hang the unit outside there? what i mean, there's no place for people to stand/hold from the outside wall to do the installation. i think it is quite dangerous hmm.gif
any a/c guys here kindly advise me? appreciate it. tq.

1st option, they will install the compressor bracket just below your window. This way, they can work from inside the room and also easier and safer for maintenance in the future...

Anyone can comment on the Sanyo air conditioner...
Found its price to be very cheap. RM699 for 1HP basic (exclude installation)

According to this site, it says that Sanyo air conditioner are now under Haier http://www.sanyo.com.my/
