Samsung air-con seriously really not good. Try to reconsider it, unless you put it on study room or any area you seldom use it.

Carrier Air Conditioner, Goodman Air Conditioner these two are the best air conditioners. They really reduce your electric bill and blows cool air.

Also planning to do concealed inaba piping. Been quoted rm420 and rm750 for 1hp and 2hp respectively. Installation is another rm140. Distance between indoor unit and compressor should be 12 feet or less. Location: Penang

If I am not mistaken, the refrigerant pipe sizes for 1.5hp and 2hp air conditioners are same.

I decided to use York (I know some forumers here complaint of noisy York units but my experience with existing 1 is silent).

I am planning to install York Cooling King in the following area if my house:
1) 1.5hp in living room,
2) 1.5hp in master bedroom,
3) 1hp in study room,
4) 1hp in guest room, and
5) 1hp in living hall.

My questions are:
1) Does master bedroom requires 1.5hp? Will 1hp do?
2) Anyone know of the cheapest York supplier?

Thank you.

Hi All

need some advise from experienced people. Im not very knowledgeable in airconds, hence my Q's:
1) my new place has limited power points, do I need to get contractor to hack the walls and do up new points and for aircond plus water heaters? Or can I just pull them from the existing power points (pulling from existing one is this covered under standard installation for airconds)?

2) as my new place does not have airconds installed yet, what does a standard installation cover? brackets for outdoor unit? drilling hole to put thru the piping? what about the plug?

I intend to install total 5 airconds (3x1.5hp & 2x1hp) and 2 water heaters, but the usage is going to be extremely minimum

Thanks to all in advance

Hi Guys, I am looking in 1.5HP Inverter A/C. Currently is confused with DAIKIN and Panasonic, both looking in the latest technology. Budget is not a concern. I need some opinion here. Thank you!

No, you will need a separate power point for AC and Heater. Do not join use the point (looping).

Standard installation covers what you want to cover. It is all about money. Standard 'electrical shop' installation includes installation of indoor and outdoor, piping (10 feet notmally?). Tools and material that comes with it are all included, no extra pay.

Chiew:

May I know what is the difference between normal piping (with black insulator) versus inaba piping (white insulator)? As can't find the info through Google search.
