wow..u more knowledgeable in aircond stuffs than those sales representative in electrical shops that i visited  nod.gif
if i thinking to get 1hp inverter...which model you recommend? i prefer quiet compressor, able to cool room fast after i switch it on.
*
Mitsubishi electric starmex loh.
More quiet for indoor fan DB & outdoor size is bigger = more faster cooling.

If compare the input watt for starmex is the lower than other brand.

One more thing starmex got easy clean design to access into fan blower to clean on blower blade easily.

Just imaging on stand fan after 3 months of usage can see a lot of dust stick on fan blade.

Anyone using Acson air con? 5 units given free by developer, need to know on electricity consumption as well as performance.

Another question is, Inverter unit using same piping as regular aircon?
*
Can reused the same piping, to be use gas plugging before refill new R410a into inverter aircond smile.gif
But dunno the wiring will enough for inverter one.

For Acson is budget brand, power Consumption definitely is higher than any inverter aircond.

Sure r bro, can use same piping? I thought need a new one, specially made for 410a gas, which is thicker, stronger n more expensive. Wiring also different inverter and non inverter.

If acson have inverter model, the power consumption wont differ that much.
*
yes sir, in singapore also reused back the same piping, just depend on workmanship only blush.gif

Ya you guys sometime dun get confuse of mitsubish heavy industrial and Mitsubishielectric brand.

Both from same mother, but difference specs.

Starmex for inverter & mr. Slim for non-inverter if I am not mistaken.

Heavy industrial is without easy clean and diff. Btu and power consumption smile.gif

Heard a lot of good review for Mitsubishi Air Con, suggest you do some research. "York" I heard can be noisy. I'm have 5 Daikin inverter installed, may switch to Mitsubishi when new unit ready.

Bro. Its only easy to clean d air blower only. That blower without easy cleaning function also very easy to clean one. Just blow a compressed air to it. Can buy it from ace at rm35 per bottle.

The real problem is cleaning the cooling fins/evaporator. Puting additional filter will only delay d process but it will hurt ur cooling capacity quite badly.
*
No such thing lah..
Additional Filter in proper made for air conditional one.
I had using since from my non-inverter Aircon leh..

Never spoil the fan blower at all, just depend how you hardworking to do replacement in every 2-3 mths time.

From what I knew, once the filter had too dirty already will effect on minor your airflow meant have to change Liao.

For all the aluminum fins after wash and minor bend then more worst to be dust blocking on airflow in direct.

From what I knew is all the aircond contractor won't allow me to do that.. Maybe is cut their job for cari makan.

I agreed with Bro Platinum. Additional filter will increase pressure loss in whole system. If we look at the fan curve, the volume flow rate for a fan will reduce with the increase in pressure loss. Normally the fan coil manufacturers will select the fan duty point at highest efficiency or near highest efficiency region. With the shifting of the duty point, most probably you need more energy to achieve the required cooling effect.

One point for sure, more time is needed to achieve the required cooling effect with lower volume flow rate.
*
Due to using additional filter can buy in Daiso from Japan products. These is very thin of the layer only.

Unless you paste with hepa filter.

If will be effect and how about hepa filter use in car cabin filter, and effect of the airflow?

Ok that is depend you want to follow or disagree me.

Daikin inverter so far so good. Will try Mitsubishi as my friend say very cold.
*
Correct for normal room size 4x3x3.2m high only set 25 degree with low fan as 21db only
If set on quiet lagi no noise at 19db smile.gif

You seems know alot of information about aircond. Im now torn between York and  mitsubishi mr.slim. which one better and why. ..
*
York is made in malaysia also heavy duty used and heavy noisy from indoor fan noise and outdoor compressor over a year of usage.
the rest no major issue, if choose from York inverter quite cold also, becoz my mother in law in kampung using now, already 2++ years.

Mitsubishi more cold and quiet speed fan control and better compressor, even over fews year on outside compressor still not much noise.

To all sifus here

Please help me decide between Panasonic Standard vs Mitsubishi Electronics Mr. Slim, price is similiar

1.0 hp RM900
1.5 hp Inverter RM1550
2.0 hp RM1900

all these excluding installation, i alrdy have concealed pipings for all 3 types of AC

Thank you
*
panasonic have to try luck also, same like lower specs may not really cooling as fast, unless you set higher fan speed and lower temperature.

if mitsubishi Mr. Slim is better than panasonic brand and quality, if you can select mitsubishi StarMex inverter to be save more money for every month bill.
cold wise better than all..

i dont know if this had been discussed....if a room is 15 feet from floor up to the ceiling...what is the ideal height to fix the blower? maybe 8 or 9 feet? anything higher then that will result in the aircond having to work longer to cool the room cos cool air sink while warm retained at the top? If blower is fixed at 9 feet...the aircond will only cool the room up to 9 feet...right? when the sensor at the blower detected that the room is cool enough it will reduce power. anything above the blower of 9 feet will not be as cool as below the 9 feet and after all its not necessary to cool any space above it.
*
4500-4600mm consider higher ceiling, you may switch on 2 hours before for going to sleep...
due to highest ceiling may more heat and wait until cooling all the wall and ceiling then going down to floor level only.

temperature or fan speed can be set to normal on 25degree and low speed, if you choose on inverter 1hp model.
