if i thinking to get 1hp inverter...which model you recommend? i prefer quiet compressor, able to cool room fast after i switch it on.

Does all mitsubishi air-con is mitsubishi starmex?

I also checked with one of the electrical shop nearby my area. When i asked the boss about Mitsubishi Starmex, she didn't know the model and said there is only "Mr. Slim" model Mitsubishi.

Anyone using Acson air con? 5 units given free by developer, need to know on electricity consumption as well as performance.

Another question is, Inverter unit using same piping as regular aircon?

Sure r bro, can use same piping? I thought need a new one, specially made for 410a gas, which is thicker, stronger n more expensive. Wiring also different inverter and non inverter.

If acson have inverter model, the power consumption wont differ that much.

Heard a lot of good review for Mitsubishi Air Con, suggest you do some research. "York" I heard can be noisy. I'm have 5 Daikin inverter installed, may switch to Mitsubishi when new unit ready.

Bro. Its only easy to clean d air blower only. That blower without easy cleaning function also very easy to clean one. Just blow a compressed air to it. Can buy it from ace at rm35 per bottle.

The real problem is cleaning the cooling fins/evaporator. Puting additional filter will only delay d process but it will hurt ur cooling capacity quite badly.

I agreed with Bro Platinum. Additional filter will increase pressure loss in whole system. If we look at the fan curve, the volume flow rate for a fan will reduce with the increase in pressure loss. Normally the fan coil manufacturers will select the fan duty point at highest efficiency or near highest efficiency region. With the shifting of the duty point, most probably you need more energy to achieve the required cooling effect.

One point for sure, more time is needed to achieve the required cooling effect with lower volume flow rate.

Daikin inverter so far so good. Will try Mitsubishi as my friend say very cold.

i dont know if this had been discussed....if a room is 15 feet from floor up to the ceiling...what is the ideal height to fix the blower? maybe 8 or 9 feet? anything higher then that will result in the aircond having to work longer to cool the room cos cool air sink while warm retained at the top? If blower is fixed at 9 feet...the aircond will only cool the room up to 9 feet...right? when the sensor at the blower detected that the room is cool enough it will reduce power. anything above the blower of 9 feet will not be as cool as below the 9 feet and after all its not necessary to cool any space above it.
