To change the topic to something more useful, have you heard of Aquasana? Yes they're NSF and WQA certified, and seem to be very attractive in terms of pricing. Have you done a comparison?

I've not called them before, but based on their site, RM799 for a countertop filter that is comparable to the eSpring in terms of the final water standards.

This could be an old pricing, so let's say it's now RM1100 including installation, it's still far more attractive than eSpring (just doesn't come with the UV light).

Moreover, Aquasana in their US site has new models. If really interested will have to call these guys up. I've tried emailing, but no response.

That's the local website I provided with local contacts. I'll probably try to give them a call this weekend to find out more.

From the quotes, seems like there's a maintenance cost of RM300 half-yearly for filter replacement.

How does this pricing (RM800 for machine + RM300 for filter replacement half-yearly) compare to eSpring?

I'm comparing to eSpring because it's also an NSF certified product, but is highly expensive.
