I dunno if its world no.1 or not, but with NSF 42, 53 and 55 (UV)..i dunno what is NSF 401.. its very complete package in the sense it covers almost everything. Previously there was a Philips water filter that had 42, 53 and 55 as well.. and it was half the price of the eSpring, but it is no longer sold here... of course it would be better choice over eSpring due to the price.

I am not aware of any other water filters locally that is certified NSF 42, 53 and 55.

RO water is not suitable for human consumption as proven by WHO.

As for Coway, don't bother, most of it no NSF. Some don't even have specification.

Bro, it is based on unit. It will not carry any meaning if it is based on revenue. There are filter costing 7k, 10k, 16k. VWA, Electrolux, Kangen....

NSF certificate cannot be bought, if it can bought, Philips, Panasonic, Pensonic, Cosway.....will be on the list, which they are not currently certified.

Philips were certified once, but not meeting the standard in later batches of the production...

Not really, to get the certificate to renew, they need to pay. If they refuse to pay, no certificate will be released. Same as ISO standard certifications, you can get every certificate by paying and follow some standards.
Even Secret Recipe got their Halal certification revoked.

hi, i've a new condo unit. anyone had installed outdoor water filter in condo.
need advise. i dont think management allow to install the unit in the meter room.

I'm in the same boat as you. AP902 you have to change cartridge every year or sooner according to the PDF. The cartridge is RM5xx.

Hi guys,

I just got Coway 2 months ago and 1st maintenance was done last week.
But the technician only do sanitation instead of changing any supposed filters.

Is that normal practice if the filters are not very dirty?
