I am using LG for 5 years, so ngam last week could not spin dry. Got LG's technician to fix it. According to them, my mom put in too many clothes and overload the washing machine. So LG is not that bad i guess. How durable the electrical stuff is also related how we use it. Cant conclude that it breaks down because the quality is poor, must also consider how the users use it.

Considering to get LG washing machine
http://www.lg.com/my/washers/lg-WF-HXB110FS

Currently using LG also more than 10 years, still working. Just i hate the filter system, still got lint sticking on my clothes. The new system auto-lint cleaner (without filter design) i guess that will solve this issue. Notice, without the filters like conventional washing machine, the entire tub is stainless steel without the plastic filters blocking and i think will make washing cleaner.

Notice my old washing machine is kinda noisy and lots of vibration, the new Direct drive motor with 10 years warranty should be much quieter as per website.

Any comments not to get this model?

my mom used front load before, 3 - 4 years rosak. Moreover, got stagnant water after washing, need to wipe.

Yes, front load is cleaner, more efficienct and etc but it is also more expensive. So, gonna stick back to top load.

Seems like no1 helping out with the LG review, i just bought it today to give it a try.

First wash we notice
1) Low noise, like no noise at all which is good for us as my grandma's room is near to the washing machine, now the washer wont be disturbing her.

2) No lint sticking on my clothes anymore and seems like the clothes are cleaner compared to my old washer.

3) Longer washing time compared to old washer (extra 20 min), normal wash now takes 1hour 10 minutes, previous around 45-50 minutes

4) Auto Sensor to detect the right amount of water take about 1min+, still not use to the functions yet.
