Just changed from 6.5KG TL Panasonic (10yrs old) to LG FL washer dryer FV1450H2B.
This is my first time using FL and dryer. So far, the machine works fine, silent but spinning a bit noisy for my small apartment. can hear the spinning until living room. so not suitable to operate at middle of the night.

just wondering using FL will require special detergent like low sud liquid?
currently i'm using nappikleen for my babay clothes and daia smart detergent for regular wash. is it good enough for the FL machine?

LG Washer Dryer FV1450H2B are quite recommended in this thread.

Q1. A 4/5 full spin need how many hours for wash n dry?
Q2. Any negative or bad reviews, or something important have to take note?
*
I've ran less than 5 cycles now. still exploring the functions. so far;

washed my baby's clothes using allergy care and dry function (everything else the machine decide). took 4 hours to complete.

another cycle with mixed fabric and dry function also took 4 hours.

dry only cycle with half load, took 1.5hrs.

Another questions

Q1. The electricity consumption high or not
Q2. Would you go back to manually jemur baju?
*
i'm not sure about Q1, as i just bought it less than a week.
i still jemur baju as not everything can be dried using dryer i believe. i realized spinning FL is better than TL. my baju dried faster when jemur (my balcony not facing sunrise or sunset. hence minimum sunlight.

Seems this type of washer dryers have come a long way.

Thanks for replying.

I've tried washing half load, weighed 5.5kg in dry state. it took 6.5hrs with mixed fabric + dry function.
I wonder if this is normal for other brand. washing about 4hrs, and the rest is drying.

6.5 hours wow. How frequent do you wash per week? And how much the electricity bill?
*
i don't know, i just used this FL machine. will update you once i got my bill.
i don't use dryer for each cycle. just when it is a rainy day, or i need the cloth the next day.

Which Program did you use? 4hours for just washing is ridiculously long.

If you do just wash cycle, does it take as long?
*
yeah, agreed with that. i used mixed fabric + drying program. other than that, let the machine decide. and suddenly showing me 6++ hrs. so i just let it run as still exploring the function.

now i know, whenever i select the programs, i can choose turbo wash to reduce amount of time to complete the cycle.
normally i just use program Turbo39, took only 39 mins to complete one cycle.

i'd still can play around with other programs by using download function, there are quite number of extra program which i can download via apps and run it with the machine. i kinda like this feature.

the machine has completed 38 cycles since i bought it. 5 of the cycle included with drying function. i did not observe any significant differences in my electric bill. sadly the apps cannot monitor the power consumption so that we can know how much power the machine consume monthly and plan for the wash.

Come come, suggest me big front loading, budget 4-5k, cheaper the better.

Im not sure how big i should go, but i would want to be bale to wash a thick king sized comforter, no issue.

can a 10kg do? I thought nk beli the LG 15kg AI-DD but nobody makes big ass front loading, means nobody requires such big thing.

Snooping senq website theres samsung 10.5KG top end model (since the LCD 12kg model tarak, and the QDrive unit pun tarak) and Panasonic 10KG FX with the AG+ cartridge that nobody sells.

Samsung ada the add-on latch that i like, and ~RM400 cheaper than the panasonic with the cardtrige that nobody sells.

Using LG 10.5/7 kg here. Able to wash IKEA quilt queen size without problem. Also able to wash thick Toto Narita as well.

Thanks, but looking forward to king size since my comforter can lawan TOTO in king size. I want to tengok just now, my wife adamant in getting minimum 12kg unit. So going for the LG 15kg model.
*
the bigger the better i believe, i was planning to buy the 14kg one, but sadly it's more than 600mm width, can't fit to the area that i want to install.

I think the noise only higher when you using highest rpm in setting.
Plan to buy FV1450S4V model after move in.
*
I own fv1450h2b. the first 3 washes are quite loud.
right now i barely can hear the the machine's sound during washing cycle.
it still depends on the load, if its light load, u may hear the thumping sound.
but the water pump sound quite obvious, and i could live with it.

Hi again. Just want to ask, is washer+dryer worth it? Will the cloths be fully dry or still damp and need to hang a bit? How about the electric comsumption? I'm specifically looking at LG model FV1409H2W.
*
I'm currently own FV1450H2B. for me it's worth it. the cloth will fully dry, the time consumed for drying is depending on the load and the cloth material itself.
Couldn't see significant increase of electricity consumption. 30 cycles average monthly for normal wash, about 10 cycles of drying monthly.

Guys. I will be jumping from TL user to FL user soon. As I am aware, FL requires low suds detergent hence I could no longer use my Dynamo.

Any recommendation on low suds detergent and where to buy?
*
i'm using Dynamo Power Gel, so far no issue. Just need to reduce the amount according to ur load. as it uses very much less than using on TL.

Hi Sifus.

After reading some of the posts, I am thinking of getting the FV1450S4V 10.5kg Front Load Washer with AI Direct Drive™ and Steam™.

Is it a good model? Any issue with this model?

thanks in advance?
*
Been using the same family line for 16months already, FV1450H2B with dryer.
so far so good, quite. the thinkQ apps really helpful, reminding you the wash is complete etc etc

Hi,

how is the washer dryer so far? 100% dry?

Also, do you need to clean the lint/dust out of the machine? I am currently using a electrolux dryer and there is a compartment where all the dust/lint accumulate and I need to throw out every 4-5 usage.
*
So far I'm satisfied with it. I couldn't make comparison as this is my first FL machine. i could say 100% dry. usually fold the cloth right away.
it could take total of 6hrs for full wash & dry. not sure if this is standard across all washer dryer machine?

there is no specific compartment for lint/dust. However, found a minimal lint on door and rubber gasket. i just wipe it off.

and I don't use dryer function so often. only when rainy season or urgent wash.

I'm still deciding front load Samsung 10kg vs LG 10kg

Samsung - WW10TP44DSX
LG - FV1450S4V

Both pricing are quite identical and seems like LG inverter DD has slight edge against Samsung's Digital Inverter.

Any input from users here?

using FV1450H2B since 2020
used daily at least 1 load.
turbo wash takes 39 minutes to complete a cycle with cold water temperature and highest RPM spinning.
