Do you really need that big? As I survey yesterday and found out that the bigger the WM is, the more water(on minimum load) it requires.
*
yup, using 11kg now, feel not enough power for comforter washing
most likely i will get toshiba since i need a 16kg with direct-drive + inverter - heater, further more it comes with 3yr control panel + 13yr mtr wty

ha yes, pandai u go read the manuals... tht is the way to go. read it n u will understand which one suits you better.

heater also used for tub cleaning. tub clean runs for 2 hours ya....  biggrin.gif

for the toshiba, i like the different level of water flow power u can set.
LG oni have normal and power, delicate is way too soft for normal clothes.
*
i think i will skip lg as the heater feature is for all courses and my main concern is power consumption yawn.gif ... anyhow compare to others lg has the most elegant/classy look & sturdier built thumbup.gif

it is stated in the manual, ONLY for allergic n whitening, and also tub cleaning.

also for those 2 course, u have to wash minimal load oni, it is stated in the manual also.
difficult to heat up a lof of water mar.

when the water is heated, there will be water condensation below the glass lid, and it takes time.

tht is y for tub cleaning, it takes 2 hours.
tub cleaning only uses Level 1 water.
there are 10 levels for LG.

read the manual carefully la.... biggrin.gif
*
ya, it did mention heat-up to 40/60C for that 2 courses, other no mention got heating or not, will chk it out, thks!

nope, din do any warranty extension..

cos for LG, oni LG can repair,

the extension is from dealer, if dealer can't repair, how?

i don trust dealer.....
*
extension frm dealer? i think shud be frm lg itself. last time my lg led screwed with wrong firmware, they appointed local technician came to fix it ler

had confirmed with lg, the heater feature only applicable for certain courses, so worry no

quote:
Dear valued Mr. xxx,

Refer to your inquiry, the machine is can using cold water only by selected non warm/hot water course. I attached the user manual selected pages for your reference. Meanwhile the heater inside the machine is having maximum power usage 1600w. But the power consumption is depend on the course of selection and environment water temperature. I wish to thank for your inquiry.

Thanks
LG Service
