in 2008 i bought a samsung top loader 8kg washing machine with 5y motor warranty.
in 2011 nov for what ever reason the washing machine caught fire by itself. (i dont turn off the power all these time btw)
reported to samsung and they replace with a newer model FOC.
they took the burnt washing machine and send it back to korea for product assessment.
in the mean time while they process the replacement (around 2 1/2m) i bought a panasonic top loader 6.5kg. quite silent which i find as a good features.
