My 7 years LG WF-T700 just died. Don't want to spout water anymore. Previously , always had imbalance problem. So, I think its time to change a new one.

So now change to front loader, LG WD-PD8010WM. So far so good, now on its 3 bacth of washing.

My concern is, how do we know that we put the WM in correct horizontal. I put the new WM in the same exact place with the old one. I need to adjust one of its leg to make all four leg touch firmly on the floor. Is this correct?

Once is all leg touch on floor, but you have used your hand to shake it front n back see will vibrate or not.

Yup, done all this.

Somehow, I wonder if there's a need to use spirit level tool to properly correct the horizontal level. Wish the WM has its own detector on its level.

guys.. sorry if this is out of topic. my washing machine is having problem. I can use as usual, but the damn machine did not know how / when to stop the water intake once it's start inserting water. meaning it'll put water until the water overflow and flooding my home. call technician, he say the motor that control water is broken, replace can fix.

so, anyone have this same experience? if yes, u repair can fix or it'll came back? and most important thing, repair worthy or buy new (cost wise)?
*
I guess more or less same case as mine. Mine, the WM no longer want to let the water flow.
So, try to fix it myself, work for day or two. Since, I already used it for more than 8 years, then I just get the new one. 8 years ago, the WM cost RM700. So, if fix it probably gonna cost around RM200 or 300. Plus it also had other problem too.

So, for your case, need to decide it for yourself.

Seems you also do not know which shop can offer lesser price. U think i didnt browse around before asking?

Pls be more informative

You can use lazada price as a benchmark. Than search around from nearest to you to get lower price.
Any other normal electrical shop can beat lazada price. No use to know an cheaper electrical shop that too far away that will incur additional cost of shipping.

beside Low Sub Detergent, can i use normal powder detergent for front load?

Low sub is so expensive >.<
*
not necessarily expensive to use,
since we're going to use it in smaller quantity compare to normal detergent

Hello,

I am narrowing down to the following, but still open to any suggestion.

+++++++7kg+++++++
(w/ inverter + direct drive)
LG WD MD750WM    RM1.6K
LD WD MD7100WM  RM1.8K

** basically same machine where MD7100WM has more wash pogramming (12 vs 8)

(no inverter, no direct drive?)
SAMSUNG WF702W2 RM1.7K

+++++++8kg+++++++
(inverter + direct drive)
LG WDMD8120WM  RM2.5K
WD PD8010WM      RM2.3K (older model)

(no inverter, no direct drive?)
SAMSUNG WW80H5290  RM2.3K

Couldn't understand why 7kg -> 8kg the price increase at least by RM500

Thanks again in advance for your input. Appreciated.

Regards,
Kevin

I use WD PD8010WM.
Don't know what to comment as it work as it should.
So far nearly 1 year only and had no problem.
Already move house one time.

Just poor my WM, as I put it at the back of the house and can easily exposed to rain and heat from sun.
Got roof but there a large opening for airflow.

Hi koinibler,

The plus side is when the WM exposed to sunlight occasionally;  it’s less likely to get a mold inside the drum. Just don't operate when it's raining.

Regards,
Kevin

Haha...
Yup, that the pro. I also leave the door open to let the drum dry itself
