I've bought a Samsung WM model WF-0702WKC, 7kg front loader with inverter motor with 10 years warranty for 1.7k at Harvey Norman. The displayed price is 2290 and they claim that they're having promotion for that specific model for 3 days and today is the last day. Haven't been doing research on Samsung as my top loader WM suddenly will not power up last Saturday and in need for a quick repair/replacement. Figure out that buying a new one would be less hassle and more economic since the previous one has lasted 7 years already.
Planning to buy top loader as expecting front loader to be >2k but when browsing through the front loader section, found few Electrolux WM with price tag of 1790. Was calculating my budget as I'm buying an aircon as well when this salesman brought my attention to this Samsung model which is on offer. Went to survey top loader as well but my mind was contemplating between Electrolux and Samsung.
Lastly, I went for Samsung as it was on promotion and comparing function and warranty wise, it suppose to be the best bang for buck.
But when I read this thread, seems like some people are having problem with Samsung's WM. Is it reallly bad? Anyway, my previous WM was also a Samsung and it didn't give any problem after 7 years of service.
