How about dryer and washer combine? Appreciate if anyone using this type of washing machine can comment and share your experience. I'm considering whether to get a Dryer/washer combo or a dedicated dryer since I already have a samsung washing machine... My concern: 1. What kind of clothes can be mixed? 2. How long does it take to do both washing and drying? 3. Does it use a lot electricity?

QUOTE(jchong @ Sep 8 2008, 06:34 PM) Yup, dryers consume a lot of electricity. They are high wattage machines and each drying cycle may take 20-30 mins or more. Dryers are popular in the West due to cold seasons when you cannot dry outside. Here in Malaysia with so much sunshine I don't see the need for a dryer, unless maybe you live in a condo (but even in condo you can air dry in the yard). Yup u're right bro...unfortunately I've converted my apartment's yard into a wet kitchen with my washing machine at one corner.. no balcony to dry somemore
