I'd get a FL model from LG (any one also good). I've only used LG washing machines all my life and each one of them lasted more than 10 years.

just wondering what detergent do you use for FL?

i am using dynamo with recommended dosage (sometime even lower) but there's always a leftover sud at the door area

Already used 6 times so far. LG ThinQ app keeps track of it. Performance OK, I guess. Clothes are clean. Cleaner than top loader? Honestly, I dunno. My wife says it is. Myself, not used to seeing so little water in the tub. Seems much quieter than my old LG but trying to think back what that sounded like when it was new 17 yrs ago, a bit susah.

Bought from HomePro, RM2199 less 5% = RM2089.05. This includes delivery and installation. Missed TNG eWallet RM100 by one day. Promo ended on 4/6. :-(
Not sure about this. Manual only states standby power consumption. Have never considered dryer since we live in terrace house with space for clothes hanger. The only time we took laundry out to the shop for drying was during that crazy rainy season a couple years ago when it was non-stop raining for many days.

A few other notes:
- HomePro installer is just 3rd party lorry delivery. They hooked up the water-in hose and water outlet hose. Did not level the machine properly, just agar-agak. Adjusted but did not lock the feet in place. I asked about leveling it and they did say Yes but no big deal. I didn't say anything else and just did it myself later. I noticed that the machine was not leveled well when the drum was spinning down. At certain frequencies, the whole thing will vibrate.
- The installers also took away my old LG for free. I think they were hinting at money for that but, initially, I told them to just bring it outside for the Majlis to come collect it (Selangor will collect bulky items for free.) They probably saw that I had laundry outside so I guess they believed me when I said the old machine is still working.
- Got 2.4Ghz WPA2 wifi and LG ThinQ app. Most useful features are:
- notification when laundry is done.
- keeps track of how many wash cycles and reminder for tub clean after 30 washes.
- Can also download one custom cycle. Default is "Rinse and Spin."

Youtube got a few videos. Not quite the exact model but close enough.

Biggest thing we have is king size mattress protector. Lucky not very thick so can fit.

Still using the previous top loader liquid detergent. Forgot the brand but not one of those expensive ones. Later update.

I heard powder is better? What brand liquid or powder are you using?
*
using dynamo for top load but it produce extra suds even when i put lesser and lesser detergent each time

Anyone here using LG washing machine with the ThinQ app?

Just want to check something.... do you guys face issue where the Energy Monitoring and Cycles Used page is not recording the correct amount of cycles? On the other hand the Tub Clean Coach part is showing number of cycles correctly
*
looks fine for me

Just try to see if a record appears in Cycles Used once u done a cycle. For my case not all cycles are being recorded. Dont think its wifi issue because notifications after the cycle is done works fine so far

And Tub Clean Coach is showing the correct number of cycles because I know for sure i did more cycles than what the Cycles Used and Energy Monitoring page is showing
Weird. So u confirm every cycle u done is appearing in the Cycles Used page? Which model u using?

didn't really go through each week but so far quite consistent to what i remember because i normally use the machine once a week

i am using 9kg machine

Have you seen the part behind the lint filter on top load? Equally icky.

Key things to note, use less Softener or avoid it completely (best), my Panasonic FL gasket was clean right until I sold it before upgrading to LG FL.

And this machine also does not have mould issue, educated my parents to stop using softener unless doing bedsheets only. LG has app and machine also notifies, when its time for Tub Clean (every 30 days or 30 washes if not mistaken.
*
i guess you quoted wrong post but anyway i am using lg 1409 front load and everytime i finished washing, the lint just stick to the shirts and quite obvious on the glass door

i only use detergent without softener and did a tub clean after 30 washes. the lint filter also pretty clean

I'm using same model, there are lint on the door which I wipe down once a week using hair shampoo, find that works best against lint being stuck there.

Lint on clothes, so far didn't encounter this.
*
i always wiped around after each washing session and let it dry but the lint still there.

i just cleaned the filter + cleaning the tube and rubber around the door so let's see if this will reduce the lint

got it fixed by technician (supported by LG) by replacing the water sensor. cost me rm95 for that unit + rm110 inspection fee

btw, how to reduce or remove the lint especially on black shirts? i cleaned the washer with baking soda, etc but my clothes still will get the lint sticked

I dont think that is lint... more like washing powder. Why dont you try adjusting the water level one level higher than the recommended one or switch to detergent.

else can try put your cloth in a laundry bag.
*
I am using persil liquid detergent so the caused by the powder is out of questions
