Yeah front loading must use low sud detergent/powder, I kena RM275 replacing the board.

I use this Ariston combo washer dryer for almost 15 years. I think around that period already twice I sent it to shop for repair one for replacing the board (how stupid of me using breeze super foaming powder for front loading machine) and the other one also the board problem as the machine stops in the middle of washing.

Other than that the other parts are still durable and kicking through that 15 years.

But the dryer takes longer time to dry as the machine aged. Now it takes maximum 2 hours to dry bunch of undergarments.

I shall wait for that to kaput before buy a new machine of coz i would go for another combo. Save everyone time and energy.

Since i dont want to waste electricity to iron wrinkled shirts and pants etc, these type of clothes i hang quickly as soon as the rinsing process stops. This is to avoid wrinkles during drying process and let it dry by itself on the hanger. But for small clothing like underwear, socks etc i leave it in the machine and let the dryer do its thing.

So any good durable combo washer dryer to recommend?

Walau, can last for 15yrs. Already good enough. It very durable.

I  guess you boring with the machine. Want something new.

Look for latest dryer technology which can save power.

Opps sorry, the drying knob can set to maximum 2 hours, i have to do it again set another 2 hours cause the first two hours the clothes still damp. So all together 4 hours to completely dry so imagine what is the power consumption for 4 hours drying.

It was not taking this long when first few years i bought it 30min -1 hour tops, clothes should dry. Maybe few of the heater elements kaput liao after all these years.
