Came across the panasonic NA-F90s3 (9.0kg) selling for RM1199. Seems ok with delicate function which is important for me. Anyone experienced with the model os are there any newer alternatives i can consider?

Guys im stuck between both Panasonic NAF100-G3 Panasonic and the Samsung WA10F5S3QRY/FQ Samsung with both being 10kgs capacity and with delicate function.

Just as i was complimenting myself on how good i am for not breaking my budget, the word econavi changed my life. icon_question.gif

INVERTER

Now i just got myself a fridge and inverter. And turns out washing machines also comes with inverter. With the panasonic model NAF100-S3 with the econavi function. Exactly the same one as i what i had in mind but with inverter.

So my question, how significant will having an inverter for washing machine be for me in terms of savings and how much will the price difference be since the guy at harvey norman paradigm mall couldnt seem to help much..

Under normal situation, I'll choose the WM with simple function.
If you want to save money, don't use WM, hand wash will be better option for you.

What confuses me is whether the inverter in washing machines are just a gimmick since even in older WM we manually choose the water level to suit the washing capacity. hmm.gif

Unfortunately, Malas person like me need WM...later hand wash tangan not smooth wife complain tongue.gif

Ok got myself a samsung non inverter washing machine (samsung wa85f5s3).

But i have a question on how elevated can the drain pipe be as my drain hole is quote far so i made a piping for the drain pipe. However my concern is on weather the outlet is too high or might stress the machine during drainin process

Friend, the drain pipe far is not a concern, as long as the Washing Machine pipe can reach. My also almost to the max length of the pipe that come with!

But your drain hole was too high.

Guess the water from the Washing Machine cannot drain properly.

Top load washing mashine does not have pump, so some of the water may not flow out, as water will flow out until it is same level as the drain pipe. Front load washing machine then no issue, cause there is a drain pump built in..

Damn..i considered sawing off a portion of the plastic pipe but guess it wont work.. Im worried if i cut the whole pipe to be parallel with the floor, the water will also flow out from the wrong end..maybe i have to consider elevating the wshing machine?

Or do i have any other alternatives?

How come you said it won't work?
Just cut/saw the plastic pipe all the way down till the top of L pipe will do... Why water will flow from the wrong end? You mean it might overflow..
If there is no blockage, overflow should not happened.

Btw the link you provided has nothing to do with your scenario, their case is about washing machine not able to HOLD water... yours is washing machine not able to DRAIN

As the pipe is laid flat down on the floor, my worry is the water can flow both ways, to the drain on where it came from.

But maybe if i saw to the joint like u mentioned, physics will say it will flow the other way right? Will definitely give that a try. Thanks!
