e.g. LG, Electrolux, Haier, Bosch, Toshiba
Which brand do you recommend?
Preferably a durable and long lasting fridge... oh yeah, and also affordable...
Lets discuss...

QUOTE(scorgio @ Jul 26 2008, 03:02 AM) This is to allow forumer to zoom in to specific appliances...imagine a thread contains 10+ appliances, it would take a hell of his/her time to read everything, when he/she only wants to know one appliances only.... save forumer time to read thread |

QUOTE(shadowz @ Jul 27 2008, 06:01 PM) Erm not sure, I have had both front and top loaders and honestly prefer front loaders. Seems to last longer and as mentioned above saves water and electricity, although I cannot ascertain by how much... Depends on usage. *shrugs* LOL, hopefully electricity don't rise to the extend we have to use manual methods...Make sure crap doesn't clog up the machine and have someone look at it for maintanence every couple of years and I reckon a washing machine can last for a decade or two Btw, here is a additional information done by experts to know some differences between front loader & top loader washing machine Washing Machine Test Method Info Added on July 28, 2008, 1:44 amSeems the top brand in year 2007 is LG Here is the link for JD Power Survey This post has been edited by arthurlwf: Jul 28 2008, 02:12 AM |

QUOTE(justin_nys @ Sep 5 2008, 09:51 PM) How about dryer and washer combine? Appreciate if anyone using this type of washing machine can comment and share your experience. Not sure on the combo appliances.. But i was inform that dryer alone consume lots of electricity...I'm considering whether to get a Dryer/washer combo or a dedicated dryer since I already have a samsung washing machine... My concern: 1. What kind of clothes can be mixed? 2. How long does it take to do both washing and drying? 3. Does it use a lot electricity? QUOTE(smallizard @ Nov 2 2008, 10:08 AM) Hitachi brand!!! Think twice or don't even think about it... What Hitachi model you're using? I just bought a unit of Hitachi washing machine (Top loading, 10kg) on 26/10/2008 and it delivered on 27/10/2008. 1st wash the machine already produced an unacceptable noise. I immediate called to the shop report the abnormal noise. The sales gal gave me the Hitachi repair center number, but only can call on 28/10/2008 (holiday on 27/10/2008 - Deepavali). On 28/10/2008, I called to Hitachi service center, informed them the abnormal noise and they said will send technician to inspection. So, I expect it will take them 48 hours... But today already 02/11/2008, no one from Hitachi service center contact me about this matter. Probably their technicians were busy servicing or repairing tone of Hitachi's products. I got taken a short video clip (mp4 format) of the washing machine with my hp during it finishing wash... really like an airplane engine sound. Let me know if you are interested to see it, I may email to you. My comment is DON'T BUY HITACHI PRODUCT. I'm using Hitachi Washing Machine too. But mine is quite silent so far...except once, which the round plastic which I put inside washing machine causes it to bang the top loader cover.... So, I remove the round plastic from the washing machine and it became silent again... However, I look forward for your video clip !!! This post has been edited by arthurlwf: Nov 2 2008, 11:15 AM |
