Is there such a detergent powders?

Yes, there is. Check it out at the nearest supermarkets & you'll find top or bottom loading type of powders.
There is a picture to indicate the difference.
But I don't see the difference.

My understanding seem to be that front-loader requires low-sud detergent which will minimise wear and tear of the mechanism.

Low-sud means.... low on bubble?

Man, didn't know that. Got to change my detergent. Mind is front loading.

Ozak, any wear & tear to the clothes?

I guess front loading detergent cost more than top loading type. Damn!

Low sud mean less bubble.

You mean the washing machine or the detergent? For machine, normally won't cause wear & tear. It depend what mode you choose. I choose front loader cause more clean, save water and power kua. hmm.gif (You will wonder why all the comersial washing machine is front loader). The bad is longer time wash and you cannot open the door half way washing compare top type.

If front loading detergent cause more, than just find those low sud detergent. since the sud is the main problem.

I see, that means front loading washing machine will cause more bubble. There is a difference indeed.
Perhaps I'll aim for the 45 degree Panasonic front loading washing machine.

I was currently thinking of buying my inlaws a steam washer/dryer, and was wondering how good is it? People always say its good, but is it really that efficient? Any one have on and can speak from experience? or knowledge?
