wow 22kg  drool.gif
I'm considering this also; but the 13kg ones. From what i read, the DD is kinda similar to normal inverter in-term of energy saving. And even some said the maintenance also not differ much. But comparing the LG with DD and just Smart Inverter; looks like u'll get more features in the DD variant.
*
Just bought at senheng with 10% + 10% + 2% + 2% coin back (kinda useless since only 10% redeemable each purchase above RM2k).
LG also having the TNG rebate RM250 so consider ok.

I just checked that the motor is HEDD and 2020 model, is it differ with the latest model like 2021/2022 with smart inverter ?

Main usage for this big size 22kg probably is for my king size bedding and curtain as well.

I seriously doubt you'll select Samsung after this, given your current problems, but the made-in-Thailand Samsung WA-23A8377GV/FQ is a 23kg top loader washer with a 11-year warranty on its digital inverter motor https://www.samsung.com/my/washers-and-drye...wa23a8377gv-fq/

I will but my wife doesnt want to XD

That's why we picked LG right now XD

Btw, for top load, is there any like door lock when don't wanna use it?

Like my previous samsung, if i activate child lock, after i finish using it and power off it down. The front load door will be locked itself to prevent ppl from opening it (when no power)

Yes, it is available on the Samsung top-load washers like WA-23A8377GV/FQ: when a wash session begins, the dock lock automatically activates. You can unlock the door by pausing or ending the current wash session. There is also a child lock feature available.

LG top-load washers like TH2722SSAK also have door lock and child lock:

They seem to be typical modern features.

However, you might need to describe your use case if you mean anything else.
*
My concern is dun wan ppl to open the door when the power is off [meaning it is locked during night time example]
Samsung front load got this Child lock and when you activated it and power off the machine, the front door will lock itself and unable to open.

The LG top load of mine doesnt, it will only locked when you start a cycle to prevent you open the door.
The child lock wont extend till like the samsung does.
So when i power off the machine [with child lock enabled] , i still able to open the top load door sweat.gif

Do you mean that the washer's door will remain locked when it is in the sleep mode? (power off but the mains power supply is still on).

When it is totally off biggrin.gif

Ahh since you're using a Samsung washer dryer like me too (Im using a 13kg/8kg combo), do you experience the door being locked sometimes due to heat where the error message is "Door * buttons locked. Please wait. HOT".

This is after a wash+dry session. Happens like 60% of the time. Have to wait a further 1 hour or so for it to cool down then only the door is unlocked.
*
It is to prevent the user kenak steam/heat dmg when u open the door as the inner full of hot air.
Imagine if u open the door straight after the drying process and ur eyes kenak those steam sweat.gif

That's why it said "HOT"

This samsung repair service really pekcek =.=

The smart things already diagnose said motor error as well as their sub-con repair guy came and check with tools also mentioned motor error

But the online services samsung (the on-site subcon also need to follow them) insist said check this check that first before saying motor is the issue.

Ugh .. No more samsung appliance next time.

Any vibrate absober can recommend for front load washer dryer?

The Rinse and spin section - vibrating sometime will cause my washer dryer "walking" sometime sweat.gif

Guess the culprit is also due to my floor is the glossy type tiles which will become slippery if there is water around

If it vibrate until walking, it means your washer is not properly leveled
*
It should be leveled as i use the leveling tools with ball in middle, just that the floor too slippery or gloss sweat.gif

If i wash the floor with water, sometime will fall down if myself dun maintain my position.

Can consider buying those anti slip mats they use in toilets

Or can try something like this, not sure how good is it. Just search washing machine anti vibration pads on lazada or shopee

https://s.lazada.com.my/s.8USLF

Yea, might consider.

you probably need this https://shopee.com.my/ANTI-SLIP-SHOCK-ABSOR...a5-a0809341d89e or 3mm thick rubber sheet, but rubber sheet dont come with small pieces

leveling and multiple small load makes a difference in reducing washer run away
*
Thanks, will look into it, else am thinking to put some stopper or something like this : https://shopee.com.my/product/296220842/242...bRoCZ90QAvD_BwE

never use this before, but i doubt it will improve the run away problem, i've seen someone from 小红书 having the runaway problem too when using the stand

do remember not to wash or wet the floor when using washer, water and soap can reduce friction and cause the rubber to be more slippery and cause washer runaway
*
Else have to dig 4x holes on the floor to prevent it run XD

Yea, sometime the water will reverse out from the drain hole due sweat.gif
Hence making the floor wet doh.gif
