QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 2 2012, 07:02 PM) The drain tube is to release the water so you can takeout the filter for cleaning. It locate at the bottom left small door. For my LG WM. Very good hidden feature. Another thing for the FL washer user is dont throw away the shipping bolts, you need to reinstall the bolts for moving the washer or risk to damage the drum.

QUOTE(mywii @ Nov 5 2012, 10:17 AM) ya there is a tube there but not much water coming out. A lot of water instead coming out from the filter when open. LG technician came and said its like that and I dont have to empty it all the time maybe 4-6 months once. however, the manual states otherwise and that have to be cleared "regularly". Unless the definition of that is 4-6 months The drain tube should remove 90% of the water. try to pull the tube all the way out. I only remove the filter for some emergency reasons, like eraser, coins was stuck on the filter, the pump will make some funny sound, another way to see if required filter maintenance is the cloths still dripping wet when the washing and spinning are done.

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 5 2012, 12:55 PM) The coin etc can go into the filter? My LG WM filter is only trap the fibre and dirt. Those big object like coin will remain in the drum after wash. I wash the filter every 6mth. Yes, 5 and 10 cents coin will trap in the filter. Kid always forgot to empty the uniform before throw into the washer.
