Mine are open area, so take lesser time than yours. If rainy then I just air dry it.
Kao Attack I used before also, but because of the price and my wife over use it, so I don't it anymore.

Hot water do help, on destroying your laundry
The key point here is we need to dry it in natural way, wet and high humidity = smelly.
Heating up when wet also not a good idea.
I brought back some detergents from Middle East and test over here, indeed there are some difference on drying, with and without direct sunlight.
Is the bacteria inside our laundry that cause the bad smell.

Buy a dryer... that will definitely help.
