How big does a washing machine need to wash a king size comforter?
That's my only worry if I were to use front loading washing machine.

Walau, can last for 15yrs. Already good enough. It very durable.

I  guess you boring with the machine. Want something new.

Look for latest dryer technology which can save power.

When it comes to dryer, electricity bill will be expensive due to the heating element.
From what I read It cost about Rm1.50 -RM2 to operate a dryer for one load.

The latest technology of dryer is using hot steam to dry. It save power.

The old type is using heating element which is power sucker. You need ducting for this.

The one I m using now LG is condensing type which recycle back the hot air while condense the water out. The saving is second to steam type.

Hmm interesting, what models currently in the market using this method of drying?

So far what I know, panasonic have this model. But not avaiable at local. The best per value is LG and samsung so far I know. But LG get more good feedback. So I go for LG.

The hot steam to dry method?

Can't seem to find this method of drying in the LG website.

I am trying to decide either on Panasonic of Toshiba.  Please lend me your advice.

Anyone buy panasonic inverter technology?  Please let me know is it noisy?

Comparing Panasonic inverter 13kg and Toshiba 13kg...

Panasonic inverter - Power consumption 165, Water consumption 180L
Toshiba inverter - Power consumption 360 (wash) 140 (spin), water consumption 234L

So shoul I opt for Panasonic?  What do you think?

Since both are inverter then reliabililty, price and after sale service should be the deciding factor.

Rm2200 + rm50 delivery Harvey Norman during one of their promtions. The one i bought is 8kg , 1200rpm max spin speed. There's the cheaper 7kg one but since I'm using it to wash the comforter, I chose the biggest one.

The rest of the front loading brands, electrolux, bosch is 600-700 ringgit more expensive than Panasonic for 8kg load and I don't think it's even inverter. I do think Panasonic is more value for money.

Initial impression is that is quieter than my previous top loader and my clothes come out less wrinkled and it has the ability to heat up the water for washing. Nothing to complain about at this moment.

Planning to get a dryer, are these prices cheap or expensive?

Also Is it a good idea to get washer/dryer combination?
Does anyone here have experience with it? (>1 year) Pros and cons?

The Panasonic inverter washer dryer made in japan looks nice.
It's expensive but I don't mind it if it can last 10 years , but I'm so worried it will breakdown within 2 years.
