Saw a Daewoo DWC-L1011 front loader 10kg washer + drier for RM2999.

12 years warranty for the inverter direct drive motor.

It's an older model, but frankly I don't care so long as I can get 10kg capacity + drier function as bonus for under RM3k

Is Daewoo a reliable brand..?

We bought this. Because we also bought a 710 liter fridge, the washing machine price dropped to RM2899 - making it the cheapest 10kg washer drier anywhere in town.

hi where is this. is this offer applicable to 1 unit only?

Nope... that is the price for that model, not just that one display unit. It's a slightly older model (new one came out... but who cares), hence the <RM3k price for this 10.5kg washer-drier.

Check out One Living in Gombak. There are 2 outlets there, mine is from the smaller one next to the bike shops & facing the highway.

why choose FL over top load ya? price of top load cheaper with same kg. pls advise sifu

I bought a front loader because after converting the unused shower area of the spare bathroom into a laundry corner (with concrete platform to create an enclosed wet storage space underneath for pails, cleaners & detergents), a FL is the only type that can be used in that space. Not practical for anyone climb the 2 feet high platform to load a washing machine from the top, so an FL is the only way to go.

There are 2 other advantages:

1) Got washer/dryer combo with drying cycle which I use to instantly dry thick & heavy items like jeans & towels.
2) It uses a hell lot less water than my old top loader.

Apart from that, no diff than top loaders. Hell, I would have bought a top loader if my laundry room could accommodate it.
