Emm, because air vent type needs exhaust hose, condenser release more heat to surroundings, so heat pump has some edge while more energy-efficient.

I am only aware of Panasonic heat pump dryer. Are there any other models available in Msia market?

Beko is from UK. Why need a dryer for Malaysia where sunlight is available 

that's not the excuse. Condo space is smaller than landed why you will wanna cramp it up 

kimsim, is the balcony cramped at your place? One thing I envy about laundry drying solutions in SG is the myriad of solutions for air drying in better weather conditions even in cramped spaces until it rains which warrants a dryer.

For example, EZ Living EZ Lift or EZ Hi-Dry (if local HDB building ordinance/by-law permits) as shown here. Or One Hangers which has some of the same but one product stands out, individually lowered hanging pole sold in sets of 4 to 6 poles.

Over here, it's either LG Global, Hotata, Sabinai, etc but none as flexible as the solutioning offered and sold in SG for condos. There's even some that offers customization due to non-flushed walls in which one end juts out further than the other end.

Of course, with dryers, one is not subjected to the vagaries of bad weather as it's irrelevant but hanging under sunlight has its benefits (barring haze and rain) of free UV sterilization on clothes.

May I know for front load 7kg is about equal to how many kg of top load?
Thinking to go with front load LG 7kg or electrolux 7kg (800rpm).
Any one using 7kg front load ? how is the usage and performance?

this is an endless debate especially you have bought the dryer  , all we share here is our tot. My friend whose bougth dryer ended up usage is less than 10%....regardless raining season or what, the clothes still dry...another good thing is save electric

Raise up front loader is good for easy take/put cloth from WM but for ww8000 is not good when u add detergent, except use ww9000(detergent store inside)

My 7 years LG WF-T700 just died. Don't want to spout water anymore. Previously , always had imbalance problem. So,  I think its time to change a new one.

So now change to front loader, LG WD-PD8010WM. So far so good, now on its 3 bacth of washing.

My concern is, how do we know that we put the WM in correct horizontal. I put the new WM in the same exact place with the old one. I need to adjust one of its leg to make all four leg touch firmly on the floor. Is this correct?

Nope, front loader never and forever will not be 1 step above hand washing.
And front loader waste more energy also, as for 10 year run you need to send it for service. Considering the manual work required. Squad down also very bad for health.
