Hi guys, anyone familiar with Hitachi WM? Looking for FL WM, 8kg will do. Budget around RM1000-1200. I have a soft spot for Hitachi, but i’m not too sure about their WM.

Which brand offer best after sales service?

Not sure but personally from experience, Toshiba TL is very rough on clothes same as Midea TL.

LG TL is ok; other brands I have never really used before.

Use laundry bags or delicate function for 'soft fabric'.

For 'tough' fabrics like jeans and thick towels, you need the normal wash to give it a good clean.

Separate the wash cycle according to fabrics

The LG I'm using now belongs to my landlady, about 3 to 4 years old. No issues so far according to her.

My own house at KL, I'm using Panasonic FL. Planning to change to a LG FL once it breaks down.

Panasonic service is good, just that there is not much technological advancement and doesn't seem like they addressed some of the design flaw which I found in my current machine (shorts with strings often get caught onto the tiny gap of the drum paddle lifter, and becomes an entangled mess)

In term of durability, both models are fine?
Is heavier washer dryer the better so that it has no shaking problem?
*
No idea. Heavier means able to load more per wash so that wash less often.

I use the Big Drum but higher end front load. Inverter direct drive but made in 2012. Reliable workhorse. Works well, issues mostly due to primary user and inordinate amount of softener use which we have reduced.

Guys, need some advice on FL WM.

Currently using LG more than 10 years and got a bit of issue.

Planning to change to Japanese brand FL. So far haven't tried Japanese brand before for WM.

Read some comments here saying don't touch Toshiba TL.

But if Toshiba FL is it ok?

So far I'm looking at only 2 brands.
Panasonic and Toshiba FL as my replacement.

For Toshiba is the 7.5kg inverter (TW-BH85S2M)

For Panasonic is the 7kg (NA-127XB1WMY)

My main priority is reliable and clean washing of clothes.

What do you guys recommend?

Hello people, I'm moving to new house soon, its a condo hence laundry space is limited.

Originally thought of a TL from Samsung / LG will do. But on a second thought, wondering if washer dryer combo is it a good choice. Any comment on washer dryer?

My main priority would be machine durability, electric consumption and convenience.

thank you!

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone here has experience with Haier washing machines. Understand they've bought over Fisher & Paykel & GE Appliances so their tech should be reliable.. They also provide 12 year warranty for their inverter motors. Seems like a good deal

Noticed that someone has posted a similar query here but there hasn't been a response so far..

Hi, i just bought a toshiba front load 7.5kg. This is my first front load machine. There is a loud humming sound especially during rinsing and spinning. I was told by the technician it is due to the machine is sucking the water out. Higher end model may be using more silent motor. Is that true?
