Hi all Sifu,

I'm planning to have a front-load washer for my condo (2 person household). Usually wash our cloths every 3 days (work shirt + sleepwear). Below are the 3 washer-dryers comes to my mind:
1) LG 8KG/5KG (LG-FC1408R4W)
2) SamsungĀ 7KG/5KG (WD70J5410AW/SP)
3) Electrolux 7KG/5KG (EWW-12753)

May I know Which one more reliable? or other option below RM3k? Thanks

Unless you're a retiree, all the children have flown the coop, go for 8kg or 9kg and above. If drying space is there, at most you'd wash 1 or 2 a week. When your kids comes you'll be glad that it can take the load for a long while.

Hi, my partner and I just a newly married couples and probably expecting 1 or 2 child in the next 5 years.

Any recommendation which 8kg or 9kg front load washer-dryer more reliable? Our yard has limit space so not going to have washer and dryer separately, and the balcony quite tight to hang dry our clothes.

Can the balcony dimensions accommodate a Houm Superdryer on the ceiling? It takes over the ceiling light and the dryer don't use more than 855W plus 12W for lighting which will not exceed ceiling light point of 6A.

Washer have a look at this one which has drum clean.

Just to let know Toshiba top load AW A820 at 6 yrs exact gave problems. Sound like some sort of relay going on and off repeatedly then stop with error message. Happened a few weeks ago alry but manage to get it going again but not this time.

Btw, never happy with this WM because kind of twist the clothes too much. Clothes get damage very fast even in laundry bag.

Previous WM last way longer.

Going to call repairmen to have a look see. Dang.

Update

Fixed this myself. A search on net for machine model and is a common problem with this range of Toshiba. In the end, bought parts online, fixed.
3 months already.

Hi all,

My condo is pretty small. It is either putting it in the (only) store room and taking up all the space, kitchen, or balcony.
I prefer balcony. It'll be next to the AC compressor.

Will it be affect the performance of the washing machine and will it get spoiled faster due to the heat from the compressor (will use AC sparingly, a few hours at night), heat from the sun and rain?

Thanks

hi, anyone using panasonic NA-FS16V7SRT?
how is it so far?

It was delivered but we didn't ask the delivery guy to install as our yard need to do minor reno

they unbox and move the washer to the kitchen area

in the manual under the installation or before start using the washer, i noticed no mention on shipping bolt/bracket/foam or remove anything from underneath the washer that keep the drum from moving during shipping/moving

is it panasonic washer can just unbox and immediately can use after connecting the inlet and outlet hose

Thank you for your input.
Considering that I only have one store room which is already tiny. with a washing machine in, I wouldn't be able to store anything in there bangwall.gif
So it is either balcony or in the kitchen.

That is perfect size room for WM.

Try make out the vertical space in the store room.

anyone placed their washing machine on top of laminate flooring? I'm planning to get my dry kitchen floor laminated with a washing machine on it but will there be risk in destroying the floor underneath it due to water leakage?

my washing machine is the front fill type.

Dear sirs,

I'm currently looking to get a new front loader (usage by 3 adults 1 child).

Narrowed it down to the following.

SamsungĀ 9kg Front Load Washer with QuickDrive WW90M64FOPW (RM2500 lazada Zeta Enterprise)
Panasonic 9kg NA-129VG6WMY (Lazada 2359 with Installation-Pana Corner)

But I wish to get a dryer as well, and prefer it to be a matching set. Panasonic dryer is really MEH. WHile the Samsung dryer is only 8kg.. though usually dryer cap should be bigger then washer?

Any advice/tips/input on the 2 washer above would be appreciated..
