I read through this thread and seem like many recommend LG. How about Panasonic? I intend to get Panasononic over LG smile.gif

My parents got a Panasonic washing machine. TBH it is a reliable unit that doesn't give any issues to them.

However, technology wise I think LG tops Panasonic.

Hi. Stacking washer dryer is okay or not actually? Chat dengan support dia suruh beli combo.
*
As long as you have the space to do so + buy proper kit, why not? Buying combo is only when you have limited space.

just posted a thread about avoiding Washer + Dryer. Just recently happened to my LG unit.

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5349042

Those planning to get such 2 in 1 please take heed of the warnings there.

I own a different model but same brand. Hopefully this won’t happen to my unit

Been using Dynamo liquid all these years without any problem.
*
Yes me too. I remember the sales person told me that I have to use a specific detergent for FL washing machine.

Do you guys switch off the switch after done using your washing machine? It is necessary?
*
For me no. I just leave it on. Not sure if it is the correct practice.

newbie in washing machine, anyone can give input on which i should take note?

front load vs top load? - heard front load is more reliable
tech? - avoid 2-in-1 washer dryer?
brand? - which to avoid?
*
Personally using LG FL 2in1. If you have the space go for separate washer dryer, especially if you rely heavily on dryer. For me I use it occasionally hence it is still okay. It still does the job.

9KG LG is priced around 1.9k, on January 2024, maybe you can get 1.7k for 8kg one without AI, the model is LG WD-MD8000WM, has only basic features and not many programs
*
This model is good enough for basic washer. Planning to get this for my rental unit.

Any good recommendation for front load washing machine ? If got dryer and washer will be great, else just washer would be fine for now. Just 2 person staying, so not a lot of clothes to wash..
*
Just go for the basic LG washer it will serve you well.

Can check out this model from LG. Apparently this is a new model.

It was RM1500 at One Living 3 months back.

Any recommendation for front load washing machine , non combo , 9-10 kg , currently using Electrolux for 7 years and recently causing a lot of problems
*
Try looking at the LG basic front load washing machine? Their basic model is quite decent. I think priced around 1.4-1.6k.

Budget not more than rm900

Your best bet should be looking at Lazada or Shopee for brands like Midea or Hisense.

hi all, for some reason, Harvey Norman guys just delivered the washing machine and dryer without installation. Now I am not sure how to install the dryer, seems like there're wires needed to be connected and also a chrome host to dunno where as per the video.

I am not sure where to get installer to help me on this sad.gif how to install a dryer? I tried to read the owner manual it didn't state anything at the installation chapter.

*
You did not ask them why? Weird cause usually they will help to install, but I am talking about the washing machine that I bought from them some time ago.

I would still get them to install it though.
