Never buy Electrolux. I had it and broke down twice within 2 years. On 3rd year no more warranty broke down again

QUOTE(petlu28 @ Jul 3 2014, 04:55 PM) I heard this brand better than others. Electrolux used to last long, but as most goods these days; it doesn't last very long now. The major issues are on the PCB board and sensor reliability of this machines.

Depends on luck also. Sometimes you get a lemon My Electrolux washer so far no problems. Already 7 years plus.

True also. Imagine if they made long last how they wanna sell their products. QUOTE(dayalan86 @ Jul 3 2014, 05:34 PM) Electrolux used to last long, but as most goods these days; it doesn't last very long now. The major issues are on the PCB board and sensor reliability of this machines.

QUOTE(petlu28 @ Jul 4 2014, 09:07 AM) True also. Imagine if they made long last how they wanna sell their products. The issue is that, all the mechanical parts of this machines will outdo the reliability of the PCB board and sensors which are required for the "Green" machine status but evetually ends up at the dump yard faster than their non energy saving counterpart.

Don't remember the model of Electrolux but I had throw it away as the PCB board is dead. Replacing it cost 600 with no warranty even after replace. Now my Electrolux dryer also having same problem. Think twice before buying

Yea. Do agree the PCB and fancy fancy LCD display here n there will have issue in future. No limit to electrolux only but other too.
Thus the model of Electrolux that i choose is kind of simply board there.
