I just checked on mitsubishi warranty. it stated
Refrigerators (MR-E60R, MR-Z65R-W-P, MR-Z65R-B-P, MR-L78E, MR-V50E, MR-F62E, MR-F55E, MR-F51E). 1 year general warranty (parts & labour). The compressor only is warranted for 10 years (1 yr general + 9 yrs compressor {claim once only}) from the date of purchase. After the general warranty all expenses relating to parts, labour cost ,gas charging, transportation and whatsoever charges incurred in repairing the product or replacing the compressor are to be borne by the customer.

Is all fridge having same warranty? Look like after 2nd year, only covered compressor and only valid for once.

this is not good.  i only just found out my sister in law also have an inverter pana fridge at her place. she told me hers changed motor twice. not cold. but she don't have any creaking noise like mine.

So sorry to hear that. Well i did read a lot about issue on panasonic electronic. That's why i decided "X to buy Panasonic" when my house is ready. Claim warranty is the best that you can do at this moment.

I find it strange that Legend SS2 quotes such low prices compared to all others (in the same area). I read another poster saying the same. Anyone bought fridges from them?

did you check with Jintex?

Just bought a fridge - Panasonic NR-BW415VN from Jintex Seapark. Best price so far after going to quite a number. Love the bottom freezer concept - less icecream and more vege cuz dont want to bend down so much!

Hope it serves me well for the next 15 years at least...

So far i heard they are cheapest. How was the service?

hi bosses,

first time purchase refrigerator.

having 2 choices but confusing in making decision.
1) toshiba GR-RG48FMD (480L, 5 stars rating, 591.3kwh annually) RM2k at Harvey. not mentioning in energy saving means it totally wont save energy ?

2)hitachi R-Z490EM (490L, 5 stars rating, 533kwh annually) RM1899 (promo price). emphasizing World Class Energy Saving.

which 1 is a good choice ?
thanks.

I just bought Toshiba as listed. bought it for Rm1750 and arrive yesterday. Not yet power ON as according to delivery people, i cannot ON it immediately as the transportation time, the gas has shaken. Therefore should wait. Going to power on later.
the front got put sticker 5 star, should be energy efficient. check out the picture

Tested power on. It cool down very fast. Now set to 1 for both bottom and top. No regret on choosing this model

when designing your kitchen cabinet, please don't place your fridge next to a wall. I had my cabinet ready with my fridge correctly measured waiting for delivery. On the day before the fridge arrives, it suddenly hit me off that my fridge door can only open up to 90 degree and I won't be able to completely pull out the drawer underneath.

Both myself and contractor overlooked this and conveniently reserve a place next to the wall due to the wall socket location. Glad I'm allowed to change to another model although my earlier bought fridge is already in the lorry to be delivered next morning ,otherwise ... cry.gif

mine is a bit lucky. also place to the wall and fit right to kitchen cabinet just nice. Door also open 90 degree but my Toshiba fridge -drawer (underneath) can take out 45 degree. So just nice and perfect.
