hi,i got some story telling, go thru all thread, but hope my thread you guys read can take 2mins to read it.

i wanna buy my mom a new fridge. current fridge is kaput liao and i feel sad my mom kept on repair the old National brand firdge. that fridge since i, ermm, very long time, since i was primary school i think. Store ice cream will melt, store fish, chicken, sotong, udang cannot hold many days, need to masak fast2, otherwise will become busuk, gas refilled many times, i remember, my mom send it to repair due to there are some rusty at hinges, door also wobble, because i like drink air sejuk and store big bottle at the door compartment causing it cannot fully closed, need to close with hand use my knee to close it properly. i remember 1 time my mom send it to re-condition it to look new, sand it, fiber it and the electrician kedai paint it like new, im so happy that day which is during i finnish SPM kot...

perghhhh..... nak cerita pun sedih lah gang...cannot share liao, now im working got gaji liao thinking of buy her a new and canggih one for her.

Type: one door, litre: 400-500L. So far, i like the Samsung one, RT35FAUDDGL. anyone owning this? is it good? current price how much?

however, feel free to suggest any other brand or model similar with my specs. budget around RM1800 below. Thanks guys.

adoi, tiba2, hati aku datang sedih... sekeluarge pakai fridge tu berpuluh2 tahun...

Bro, fridge now has becoming more affordable bro. With budget under RM1000 you can already buy decent Panasonic 2 doors mah. Btw, I have just purchased Panasonic NR-BW465XS for RM2200. It has bottom freezer and I think you can get cheaper price for the same model in KL since I live in Terengganu. If budget is really your constraint, there are many choices of Panasonic fridge that fit your budget but u may not get the one with bottom freezer la.

little talk about Toshiba Brand here. so, i dont know if i make a good choice or not on reliability, goodness, maintenance or else  after reading all the comment here. i bought a Toshiba gr-t43mbz(n) with 430 liter gross capacity for RM1560 on merdeka sale. more like panic attack on SST is coming home smile.gif dont know whether it is a good deal or not since it the cheapest. not until i saw Hisense RT536N4FBV 490L being sell for RM1393.

does toshiba make worst fridge since i saw a lot ppl not recommend the brand? or talk abt the brand? i thought i make another mistake again

i hope so  biggrin.gif
hitachi is way too expensive but lot ppl recommend it, not just the shop itself.. guess hitachi is really that good but i just want the fridge just being a fridge and better its roomy not exceed my RM1500 budget (but RM1560 for 430L,y not?) .. in the same time reliable jz like our old National fridge which last from the end of 80's (as far as i remember) until 2014
hopefull it aint give me much trouble

The first thing to go on a fridge is the rubber seal around the doors, not the motor. Huhuhu~

eventually the door seal will fail after years of operation~ it is normal~ once that happens, time to get a new fridge~
