Just collected keys for home and surveying now.. From looking through the threads here and asking around, I think Sharp would be the most solid choice among all the brands..

But was told that to remove the refrigerator door to fit my wet kitchen door frame would cost RM400 for the technician at sharp... Decision decision :/

Hmmm I can’t remember the exact model but the width is 771mm and the other is around 766mm

Which is the thinnest among all their French door models

I came across this thread regarding the ice maker and decided to reconsider from then on, if not it would have been the perfect fridge for me as the depth is around 735mm which is perfect

My bad, its supposed to be Hitachi not Sharp. The guy that you quoted regarding the broken ice maker was mentioning a Hitachi fridge

While the Mitsubishi fridge mentioned by another guy is still working fine after few years
