Hi Sapwhueijye,

Thank you so much for the kind reply, haha yeah the surface where you pull is even more prone to finger print and i plan to put a tape over it..

I came across this fridge at Harvey Norman Pavilion Bukit Jalil..

Thanks so much sawhueijye for your input.. What i love about it is actually the dimensions it fits nicely throught my wet kitchen door lol

Hi Calvin, how was your experience with Mitsubishi fridge so far? Also was wondering when you were at Harvey Norman BJ if you came across this model MR-CGX56EP, it’s on my list.

Hey Navychrome,

Haha haven't purchased yet

Just collected keys for home and surveying now.. From looking through the threads here and asking around, I think Sharp would be the most solid choice among all the brands..

But was told that to remove the refrigerator door to fit my wet kitchen door frame would cost RM400 for the technician at sharp... Decision decision :/

Hey Calvin thanks for the prompt reply! Which Sharp model is it and what made up your mind with Sharp? I find that Mitsubishi is rarely discussed, but most of the feedback I heard so far were positive, which makes it harder to decide lol.

Hmmm I can’t remember the exact model but the width is 771mm and the other is around 766mm

Which is the thinnest among all their French door models

Btw I was at Harvey Norman BJ roughly 3 weeks ago

I came across this thread regarding the ice maker and decided to reconsider from then on, if not it would have been the perfect fridge for me as the depth is around 735mm which is perfect

What a bummer, yes I’m also concerned of the ice maker too. There’s really not much options for bottom freezer, especially with pull out drawer, so I might just reconsider top freezer again if that’s the case. Thanks again for the sharing.

My bad, its supposed to be Hitachi not Sharp. The guy that you quoted regarding the broken ice maker was mentioning a Hitachi fridge biggrin.gif

While the Mitsubishi fridge mentioned by another guy is still working fine after few years

Haha thanks for the clarification! I’ll be likely leaning towards Mitsubishi too for now.
