Why not?
The fridge has not been powered ON.
The warranty is the same as an unopened unit.
The only setback is people already molest it, bang it etc.

I was told that display unit mostly a lot of problem. Unless it is cheaper by way a lot, then I will consider. If not, I will prefer to go for new unit.

My pick is any Sharp's refrigerator with inverter and Plasmacluster feature - thus any of their Pelican, Avance or Hikaru model. My current fridge is a Sharp with Plasmacluster and is 10 years old (SJP49NSL) and has been without a problem since day 1.

Sharp is having promotion, free gift with purchase. Check out their website.

Plasmacluster - freshness last longer.Attached File  xmas_cny_leaflet2017_18.pdf ( 1.22mb ) Number of downloads: 119

I found that Sen Heng online store has good prices on some products, even better than their advertised prices on Lazada.

I've recently bought Panasonic ECONAVI Inverter 2 Door Refrigerator NR-BX468XSMY. Just started to use it few weeks ago. It's not bad. Quite satisfying.

I had 1 Panasonic back at hometown, been using it for long and still working until now. My old house in KL is using LG, not bad too still functioning for more than 10 years.

I prefer Panasonic over LG coz of Panasonic bottom freezer and its quite spacey. Panasonic quite realiable brand. My own opinion ya.
