The fridge is not near anything. i placed it around 5cm from the walls as per the handbook suggestion

and the noise/heat is there even after 30minutes

Did you leave the fridge to settle minimal 6 hours before switch on?

waited more than 1 day. cause the delivery is late and im busy the next day.
how hot is the heat normally? btw, this is how i classify heat
warm : felt the heat. body subconscious reaction will not withdraw hand from it
hot : felt the heat. body subconscious reaction will withdraw hand from it immediately

its the latter in my case

Check your TNB meter how many unit (kwh) run a day. Mine consider in between of warm and hot. If its always hot, meaning the compressor run non stop for long hours.

Can ask service agent to come check, but before that try the sound from the showroom/other shops.

Ya.. after comparing with other refrigerators, hitachi glass door series is also my dream refrigerator, the best looking, save energy and wow factor smile.gif ..

My only hope now is to wait for hitachi technical support to solve the noise issue by using the sound proofing stuff, if it can't solve the problem, I think i would have to accept the noise issue and start looking for better soundproofing stuff for refrigerators,  there are a lot of soundproofing mat and material for refrigerator, not sure whether can get it from Malaysia.

For those who died died want to try, at least there is a hope to reduce the sound by using this soundproofing stuff.

Overall i still prefer the Hitachi refrigerator when it is quite time... like it from every angle smile.gif

Noise insulation may damange your compressor, because heat dissipation will reduce after you put in the insulation. Not sure if its fireproof but is better be.

It is a very old model at least 8years old. Forgotten model but at least around 500l.

Already 8 years old and since it no longer reliable, is time to change. Thr more advance and features any fridge have it will habe more things to failed.
